Man is this thing really in the same tier of cooling as the NH-D15?

It's gorgeous. It's compact. And apparently it's as high performance as those huge, bulky dual towers (other than the very best ones).

 

I want one so bad but I don't want to pay $100 for a CPU Cooler xD

    It's usually within 1-2ºC of the D15 yes.

    @TVwazhere I found a tomshardware review that had the Dark Rock 4 beating it by a degree or so (margin of error) so perhaps that cooler should be up in the tier list (it's a lot better than the Dark Rock 2 which was so bayud). Posted about it in that very thread.

     

    Dammit, I want an NH-U12A now but there's other more important expenses :(

     

    EDIT: Not to mention I don't need it at all. My CPU is a locked Xeon. Maybe I'll buy it alongside my CPU upgrade.

    I believe @WoodenMarker has noted the different test methodologies of the reviewer and the ranking is based on the average of the results.
