I think you mean device manager? Depends what you're disabling, sometimes you can just re-enable it.
Edit - If its a service or a startup program, yes you can re-enable it.
Task manager. Where you can disable tasks. Aka end various processes?

Hi,
This probably sounds like a bad question but when you disable something in the task manager when you reboot your computer will it turn back on?

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if something like <iframe> works on a mobile app?

Also mobile networks typically arnt any faster than what you have now. Maybe bring your computer to your router temporily to test it with a wired connection.
ok

You can't stream from hotspot to your mobile home. Not only will it use alot of data but thats not how steam link works.
Ok. Forgot about that...

I don't know. It will also depend on what you have now. It could be a limit of your router. But it probably won't effect it much. You really need a wired connection for this stuff. Maybe look into powerline adapters? You want at least 50mbps Link.
Yeah, I'll try. I'm going to try to use my phone's hotspot and see if anything changes. I'm also going to try in-home streaming via my laptop and see if anything changes there. Thanks for the suggestions!

The computers connection inst fast enough for high quality 1080p
would a wireless reaper help to extend the connection? It will also provide ethernet access.

Hello everyone. I've just gotten a steam link and installed it on my tv which is also by mine router, plugged in via ethernet. My pc is upstairs and on a wireless connection. Downstairs I get 60-70 mbps up and down and upstairs I get 15-20 mbps up and down. My components are a bit old; AMD fx-6300 3.5 gtz, 8gb ddr3, 250gb ssd, EVGA gtx 760. Games run 60-130 fps upstairs but it is extremely choppy downstairs on the steam link. BTW my router is the Tp-archer compared to the popular Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. Decreasing resolution hasn't helped. Any suggestions?

This is why you shouldn't pre-order anything.
Just wait for the reviews and for others to find out about such flaws.
Hope you will receive a working one soon.
I didn't pre-order. I got it a week from release at an apple store. Thanks for the friendly advice! I am not going to be getting another one because of 3 tries yet no improvment. I'll be getting the next iPhone in october '18 cuz it will have 2 cameras, oled, and a edge to edge display.

Nothing pisses me off more than stuff getting through QC.
On the ring issue though, the home button is recessed slightly. Is that what you are talking about?
Maybe but I don't think so. This is a image of it. 1c17b4f4-1b0b-404e-y294-f891895f352f.webm

Dear fellow LTT forum viewers, I have a great concern and a consistent problem with Apple products. No, it's not about the price, performance, software or anything that can be argued as "subjective." I really have always thought this multi-million dollar company, one of the most profitable in the world, would never have any mistakes especially with asking for so much money then the typical person can afford. Tech companies are the best at impressing consumers and are some of the quickest to solve defects and satisfaction problems. I must say I and very, very, very disappointed with what I have experienced this year with my purchase of an iPhone 8 and an iPad 2017. In my opinion, I think IOS is the best way to go and so with the choice between the iPhone 8 and X, I choose the 8 for the lower price tag, similar specs, and because I liked the iPhone 6/7 design. So I decided to get 64gb and silver configuration and when I unboxed it the screen was not attached correctly! It is hard to explain so I have some links to some videos to explain the concern in other cases.
So essentially, this was my problem. In my case, I had a gap on the left side of the screen, right top corner, and the bottom on the back. So I was really bothered by this, I decided to return it! I got an another a week later to wait it out and got a fresh iPhone 8. It was the same configuration. I ran into another problem this time. I understand the home button is no more on the iphone 7 and 8 as they are still buttons but have taptic feedback. This time the ring that is on every touchID capable iPhone was not flush with the glass! I felt it and could see it. In a quick summary I returned it again and then got another one having to return that one because it had the same problem as the first one just as bad.

Ok. BTW I am only 14 so my parents are against taking the 5th trip within a month to the apple store. Gonna have to convince them . They think I'm crazy but I know it's a serious problem plus 750 dollars cost a lot so I not for wasting it.

If true your model would be the number 9 cases reported for the iPhone 8. Just return it and get a new one.

There have been a few reports of other iPhone 8s experiencing this separation. I would try again for a new phone or stick with what you have and see what comes of it.
Yes I know. I don't know of any home button problems tho. It's really disappointing bc it is two times in a row with defective out of retail models.

I know this is not a pc related questions but I need some answers to this concern. I have gone through one iPhone 8 already in the model: Silver, Sim-free, 64gb. Sound great and all but I returned it. It apparently started to spilt open out of the box with noticeable gaps between the glass and chassis. So to have a second chance I exchanged it for a new one at my local apple store. With no questions asked I got the same model just 4 days after opening. Without any noticeable defects at first, I was happy to my situation solved. Coming home one day (being considerably sunny) I noticed my home button had a separation on the left corner. Like the 7 the iPhone 8 as a fake vibration button so home button issues shouldn't be a concern. So I talked with someone via the apple support app on my iPad and the person as always just asked if I would like it to be fixed via the genius bar. In two days I started feeling the defect. I guess I will return yet another iPhone to be replaced. I thought I would ask this with other people with the mindset of technology and if they had any history of this problems. Excuse any mistakes as I typed this fairly quickly.

There's no advertising. They specifically stated they are working on a portfolio and are offering to create something for someone to benefit themselves and someone else in the progress. They never even said a business name or linked a website, so I don't see what the matter is here.
Thank you NinJake

Well that went south quick.
I'd say it's good of you to reach out to a tech community and ask if anyone is interested. You are simply trying to grow your portfolio and skillset. It's just like asking if anyone needs help with coding or an image photoshopped.
Thank you!!!!

Lol, I am a Mod on the wordpress.org support forums. I also have a plugin with over 100K+ active installs in the WordPress Plugin Directory. I don't need a website form you.
Then stop commenting. Any smart person can make useless comments on a topic and spell from right.

Ok, either way I don't think this is the place to post this kind of thing. If you want to grow your portfolio then I suggest going to local businesses and offering them $100 to build them a website. Any smart person could look through your portfolio and see that you made a bunch of useless websites for people.
Yes I am currently doing that. If you read my topic post carefully I can put you on a list. I am included poeple in my local area but I just wanted to see if anyone would like to be included on the forum.

Questioning if this is against the Community Standards.
No I don't think so. I have done free graphic design a while ago and this same question was asked and from my knowledge if something is advertised as free then it is not against community standards since it is not being advertised as business and to take advantage of the site for profit.

Anyone wanting a free WordPress design? I will design a blog, business, portfolio or landing page website with custom logos. I am trying to grow my portfolio so anyone who is willing to take this offer I can put you on a waiting list. Any questions I will be happy to answer! Thank you!

Credit card.
Also, it matters where you live. Here in Finland a part payment deal is possible and a common thing with carries without a plan or even a sim card.
I live in the US and the deals with payments are different.

I was wondering if there is any service online to pay monthly for devices, parts, and to my topic phones. carriers provide monthly payments for financing phones is there a way to do this without a carrier?

They're actually relatively easy to come by. Ebay and reddit are good sources, as is G2A
G2A Sells them for like $70 though.
