  1. OK I made my choice I will go with the RTX 3060 Ti because it's just cheaper. Thanks @VEXICUS and @DANK_AS_gay .
  2. Now you gave me a 3rd option to consider, damn you. RTX though is a nice niche thing that I would like to have at some degree.
  3. The cheapest I have is a Sapphire one at 1000€
  4. A 3070 is non existent in shops and the "2nd hand market reaches 1k+€.
  5. I am in need of a new GPU and I have 2 options: RTX 3060 Ti from Gigabyte Gaming OC PRO V3 at 900€ RTX 3070 Ti from Asus TUF OC Edition at 1200€ I know the prices are still high but I can't do anything else at this point. I am using 2 monitors a 1440p Freesync(Gsync at 44fps and up) and a 1080p on the side. My PSU is a Corsair HX750i 80 Plus Platinum and it runs 5 Noctua fans, 2 HDDs and an SSD will it be enough for the 3070 Ti and more importantly will the extra 300€ make a substantial difference?
  6. I forgot to mention that the dots are a small to medium paint brush size and I am on display port.
  7. The cable is brand new that came with my monitor 5 months ago, so I didn't consider it.
  8. Hello, I started seeing red dots(small to medium sized paint brush) appearing at random intervals and random places while gaming at different games but still works without a problem. Is this a sigh that my GPU is saying has had enough ?
  9. Hm ...... will a Lian Li 011 be good or should I go for a Meshify 2 Compact, they are the same price here.
  10. I am going to try and but an RTX 3070 Ti if it's in bearable pricing. What I want to ask is on what cooler design should I be aiming at between Asus, Gigabyte, MSI. What concerns me is the temperatures because my case is an NZXT Source S340 Elite with a Kraken X62(pull) in the front, so not much in terms of airflow.
  11. I recently purchased a Dell s2721dgf it's a 1440p/165Hz monitor and started using my old 24inch 60Hz monitor as a second monitor, my problem is that when I put videos (youtube, twitch etc on any browser or VLC) on the 60Hz and start playing a game on the 165Hz or even the monitor with the video is not focused after 10-20 minutes(it's always random I counted) the audio starts to de-sync from the video, I have to refresh the page or restart VLC in order to fix it. What I noticed is on Youtube when it's a very long video the resolution changes automatically to 480p(that only happens even if I forcibly change the resolution to 1080p/1440p after a while if Youtube is not focused it goes back to 480p) I have tried turning off Hardware acceleration and changing the refresh rate of my old monitor and new to see if that helps but nothing changed. Main monitor(165Hz) is plugged in through DP and my old one is with HDMI. I have found some very old threads in Google but they did not help. EDIT: Currently at work so I won't be able to immediately try to fix things.

  13. I was gonna reply "DUH!" but then I remembered that even today some people still don't have an ssd.
  14. My old 2TB hdd just died, now I am looking at a 4TB WD and the problem is that in my country the Blue and the Red have a 4 euros difference what is better for me. I will use it for storage and gaming.
  15. Hello, I want to buy a UPS and know nothing about them. I have sometimes power outages for 1 or 2 seconds and that messes things up, I need it to do it's work for about 4-5 minutes just to be sure. I plan to have on it a router, an AOC CQ32G1 monitor and the PC (750W psu, Ryzen 3600, RTX 2600 super). What kind of VA would I need for that ?
  16. Hello I am building a pc for a friend and one of the options is an i5-9400F with a B365M motherboard, is this a plug and play or do I have to update bios with an 8th gen cpu ? EDIT: Yeah I know about the better option of AMD the intel is just an option i considered.
  17. The "wall plugs" are literally buried in the concrete floor, there is a small switch for the extras(printer and POS), if you are talking about wirelessly connecting to the Internet yes I did try that and got nothing back. Can't ping gateway(comes up blank) and I did call my ISP to report the problem successfully and now I am waiting for their technician. I just though why not make a post here as well what could go wrong.
  18. Today at work suddenly the Internet stopped. I waited a minute and restarted the router to no avail! I also turned it off, pulled the plug and waited for around 10 minutes before I turned it up again. The only led that lights on the router is the power led(shines green) and nothing else. I also can't open the settings from the pc it says "can't establish a connection". The network has 2 PC witch are connected through wire, 1 laptop, 1 printer and a call center with 2 lines(they don't work after the problem) The router is from the ISP and I can't find anything while searching for my problem except that the router might be dead. Any insight will be appreciated.
  19. Yeah 6+ years ago I was "OH 5 speakers are gonna be better than 2 so buy it"
  20. "12.2.5 for gaming" My God. Sadly I have all 5 speakers in front of me and can't do surround.
  21. That would be nice but we don't have any shops/facilities where I live or close by that I can just go and test the sound. I was thinking of going with Logitech again since they seem to be reliable and I was looking at Z333(50€) or Z533(80€) those 2 are the highest rated here with the filters I put on the search (2.1 setup and Logitech, Edifier and Creative).
  22. Hello, my cousin is searching for new speakers and I was wondering if mine are worth replacing so I can give him mine and me getting new ones. I have the Logitech X-540 5.1 for over 6 years now and they still work perfectly, no DAC or sound card they are connected on the back of my MOBO: Asus Strix Z370-F Gaming, will I hear any differences if I get new ones or should I stick with them ?
  23. Well .... I'm gonna "mark as solved" now. Thanks guys for the tips and info see ya next time.
  24. I am not gonna OC it because I am not gonna use the PC at all. Thanks for the info though.
  25. 15€ more expensive and the HDDs were about 2 euros difference.
