  1. Ok, so I have recently made a post here asking for help with a problem and got a bunch of responses telling me to unplug everything and see what's necessary and my computer turned out just without the graphic cards. Now I feel like this is a stupid question but this basically means that it is a psu issue for sure? Also if it is the only way to fix it would be a new part probably through the warranty? Thanks The other post is linked here:
  2. Ok, so I have this computer that I built about late 2016. It's worked perfectly fine for me for the past since I built it up until about a week ago. I turned it on and opened the applications that I usually open, nothing that I haven't used before, Razer Synapse, Discord, Google Chrome, and Steam. Suddenly within less than a minute of turning on my computer randomly shuts off. It doesn't turn back on. I plug it into various outlets around my house and the computer isn't turning on, all that's happening is a little flicker of the LED lights which considering they're plugged into the motherboard means to me that the motherboard isn't short circuited. I believe the PSU is short circuited but I am not sure. I cleaned out all the dust in it and still nothing is turning on other than the slight flicker. I've already tried resetting the breaker in my house and can't think of anything other than getting a new PSU. Any help is much appreciated. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/DyroZang/saved/2wtt6h
  3. The plan for this project is to learn how wires work, and things of that sort. That's the reason that I would rather not buy a premade kit, my goal is to make it on my own.
  4. Thanks! This was a huge help!
  5. @AA-RonRosen any suggestions on a way that I can learn how to put everything together, supply power and things of that sort?
  6. Alright, I have a basic level of knowledge with hardware, I have built my own desktop and worked with a few other pieces of hardware. Recently I have been looking into making a drone. Sort of a helicopter type drone, it would connect to some kind of receiver or something of the sort. I have some programming experience but i'm not too familiar with how hardware works in the area of red wires and black ones, how they connect to one another. Powering things, giving voltages and all things of that sort. I'm not sure if I want to do this project with a Pi or how but I was hoping somebody could give me some kind of guidance for the idea. Thanks!
  7. i have not seen that wallpaper for a long time (2013?)

Yea, I like this page background a lot. Found it online a long time ago and it's been my wallpaper on accounts and whatnot for quite a while.

  8. Hello, I am looking to make a program that runs on the startup of my computer. I don't know how to do this, as in whether it would be coded in cmd prompt or what. However if someone could give me basic guidance in making a program that would run the second my computer starts up or if that's even possible?
  9. Hey man, if you want I can make you a nice build PC Part Picker if you'd like. However I would like to suggest to you the AMD Ryzen. They just released with new processors and the 1700 performs on par for most things and even better for multitasking in comparison to the Intel Core i7. Even if you have the spare money a 1700X or even 1800X would be perfect due to their ability to overclock themselves whenever they need to for handling a larger load. Just basically the 8 cores would provide a better overall use for the CPU. If you need anything else contact me and I'll be glad to help!
  10. Ok, so I have been getting into programming a lot lately, I'm not too good or anythings but I was a bit interested in more server side things. What do servers include, like what is RAID exactly, is there any programming involved in server stuff? I'm confused but trying to learn. Are servers just used to host things like game servers or are there other uses? I'm just looking for an overall view on servers and how they work and what they do. If anyone could help me out on this it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  12. Is anyone aware if there is anyway to play the audio from youtube videos over my amazon Alexa? I have the original version not the 2nd and not the full tower just the Echo Dot.
  13. Hey guys, I have been working on code for quite a while. I do web design here and there for money but I am only a high school student. Is there some way someone can explain to me what programming really is? I know the CSS, HTML, and not extensively but quite well Javascript. Is this programming on it's own is there more. Can someone explain this to me. (I'm sorry this is a dumb question, but I'm just curious)
  14. Ok, I have been a huge engineering nerd for quite a while. Recently after some hard work I had achieved my CSWA certification for Solidworks, an engineering program. I am a freshman in highschool and am the very first to have ever achieved their CSWA certification in the history of my school and most of the country. Is anyone experienced in the job market know of any internships or mentoring programs for engineering that I could apply for to help my future?
  15. And the reason I wanted to take them out is because everything is so tightly packed together so but I want to clean everything.
