  1. Thanks for your response! But unfortunately, I don't think that that's the problem. I have the HyperX Cloud || headphone, which comes with a trrs connector, I think
  2. Hello, So I recently bought myself a new external usb sound card (Sound blasterX G1), as the internal sound card in my laptop is pretty much crap. The card works fine, but the problem is that there is really a lot of constant static background noise all the time (which increases when I turn up my volume). I've already installed the latest drivers from their website and tried different usb ports and connected different headphones, but nothing changed. It's really a shame that this happens as the sound card was not that cheap either. Anyone here who might be able to help me? Thanks a lot in advance!
  3. Thanks for the advice, but like bubblycharizard said, maybe It's still best to just reïnstall everything then.
  4. Hello, I was wondering if someone knew what would be the best way to transfer only the programs & data from my old pc (windows 10/128 gig SSD) to my new pc (windows 10/250 gig SSD). I'm not really looking for software that completely clones the SSD, but just software (perhaps built into windows) that copies my programs (Visual studio, Origin, Steam, Photoshop,...) and data from my old SSD to my new SSD as I would like to start from a clean windows install. Thanks very much in advance!
  5. hmmm, I looked it up, and everywhere I go, people are saying that services are almost always used to run background tasks and not an interactive GUI. Any other ideas?
  6. Just trying some stuff out ;). I would like to make a very basic program that runs before the windows logon, that I can use on my very old/slow pc so that it can do basic tasks without having to start the whole windows OS.
  7. But if I run it as a service, will I get to see the GUI and interact with it?
  8. Hello, I would like to run a .exe winform program that is interactive before any user can login in windows 10. I have already tried a few things, like running it as a scheduled task or as a startup script, but if I do it like this, the program always runs in the background and I can't see/use the GUI. Thanks in advance!
  9. Yeah you are probably right But isn't there any way to unlock my multiplier?
  10. thanks for the reply, but I'm just a bit worried because of something that I read on this page: http://www.anandtech.com/show/9848/bclk-overclocking-intels-non-k-skylake-processors-coming-soon It says that going higher than 105mhz bclk will lead to signal degradation or data loss on haswell systems.
  11. Hello everybody, I have a question about overclocking my haswell non K intel cpu. I currently have a intel core i5-4670 non k cpu and I would like to know to what freaquency it is safe to set my base clock. I have it currently overclocked to its max multiplier (x38) and a baseclock of 105 mhz, which gives me about 4GHz in total. Now I would like to know if it's safe to run my cpu like this and if I can set the bclk even higher, because everything seems very stable and my temps are pretty good (50 degrees under max load). Thanks in advance. Specs of my pc: -Intel core i5-4670 -Asus sabertooth z87 -8gb Vengeance DDR3 -Corsair RM 650 -nVidia GTX770
