  1. Hello LTT, The other day a friend of mine gave me their Dell XPS Studio 1340 (Core 2 Duo 4gb RAM etc.). The laptop is in great condition so I figured I would get a linux distro on it and put it to good use. The laptop did not have a drive so i got a spare one and was going to boot linux from a flash drive. However, the laptop hangs on the Dell splash screen when I boot up and will not let me access the BIOS, setup boot devices, or boot into and OS. The only thing I am able to do is hit escape and see system specifications, from there it prompts me to enter F2 and go into the BIOS however, this does not work. So far, I have tried reseating the RAM and resetting the CMOS. Any Ideas? Thanks, Ronnie
  2. Remember, when using a for each loop you can't modify the contents of whatever you are looking at. ie array, list, etcJust making sure the op is aware
  3. Do you guys think best buy would price match this since its out of stock?
  4. Hey LTT, I'm done trying to do heists with randoms and am looking for some people to play with. I have a teamspeak server and will message you the ip if you pm me. My social club name is GamersVerge. Im 16 btw but I don't really care about age, all are welcome I am on usually around 3pm to 10pm EST on weekdays and on weekends anytime is good. Thanks, Ronnie
  5. Yea although it would be nice I don't feel I need 1440p 144hz or something like that. Do you think this would be a solid vesa mount to use? http://www.amazon.com/Mount--Freestanding-Monitor-Monitors-MI-792/dp/B00ED34G8C/ref=sr_1_42?ie=UTF8&qid=1427772005&sr=8-42&keywords=dual+vesa
  6. Hey LTT, I have been looking at monitors for a while and am trying to figure out which setup I should go with. I should preface this with mentioning that I will mostly be gaming/programming/doing school work/watching videos. I am not doing any serious photo or video editing. Currently, I am using a ghetto dual monitor setup (1 LG 29" ultrawide panel & 1 24" panel) and I'm not sure if I willing to go back to a signle monitor setup as this has had amazing benefits for my productivity and I have lots of desk real estate I would like to use. However, with my slim $400-$500 budget I am not sure if I should go with 2x 1080p 60hz tn panels(benq,ASUS,etc) or 1x 1080p 144hz IPS panel. Suggestions would be appreciated, these are the monitors I am currently looking at: dual monitors (extra money for vesa mount maybe...): http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-GL2460HM-24-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00IKDFL4O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1427758389&sr=8-2&keywords=benq -or- http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS247H-P-23-6-Inch-Full-HD-LED-Lit/dp/B005BZNDS0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1427770712&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+1080p+monitor single monitor: http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-Performance-24-Inch-LED-Lit-XL2430T/dp/B00M8E0K06/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1427770669&sr=8-2&keywords=benq+144hz Thanks, Ronnie
  7. It's intended to be an open-world space FPS shooter with trading, combat, etc. Check out this video if it interests you:
  8. Anyone whose interested in playing Elite: Dangerous, I know it's a bit clunky trying to join the same instance as someone else but it would be pretty fun! I'm currently running a Viper just being a space pirate, anyone interested in joining me just pm me and we can join ts or a Skype call.... Thanks and hope everyone's enjoying the Elite: Dangerous beta atm...
  9. My favorite part of this notebook is probably the move from a TN to IPS display
  10. I love that it maintains good battery life while running that 1440p screen one of my biggest worries of incorporating higher res screens into phones..
  11. Would be great for when I'm playing with friends or if I ever make a game server.
  12. Ok, well I am using the charger that came with my nexus 5 and this issue is of course more prevalent when I am charging via a battery pack. Is there a third party charger you would recommend over the default one that comes with the nexus 5?
  13. I was curious if anyone with a nexus 5 has had issued as I am about to describe and if I maybe should RMA or if this is normal: Lately I find that when I play demanding games on my nexus 5 and have it charging on a wall outlet the battery still goes down.. Granted its at a slow rate but it's kind of dissapointing that I can't play games on my nexus 5 for extended periods. Thanks in advance Ronnie
  14. What a beautiful piece of technology...
