  1. This is just unbelievable to me, literally nothing is safe anymore, not to mention the deepfake voice that was talked about on the wan show couple weeks ago, and now this, just unbelievable. Sources https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/air-gapped-systems-leak-data-via-sata-cable-wifi-antennas/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwinxZejoY35AhVtkokEHVzACMsQFnoECAkQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3tXyUMZOtvbYQwTGfajAcu
  2. Ok um so gosh there's alot of information out there but like not at the same time. Like there is but not alot on the specifics of overclocking if PMIC is locked or unlocked, also not much info on the three "bios modes" (for lack of better term) and what each mode allows you to do, I believe the lowest mode doesn't let you overvolt at all, and the second does but only to 1.435, and the third is totally unlocked to overvolt to your hearts content, but I believe I read but idk that your mobo is programmed with only one of those modes? And so also on the third mode and oc for forever bios mode, does that let you do that even if your PMIC is locked?, or if PMIC is locked, the with whatever of the three modes you motherboard shipped with then negated and do nothing? There are alot of caveats I see, or it's much simpler than all the info that's out there makes it out to be. So can someone or someone-s, please if knowledgeable about this, can you please lend their knowledge and teach meeeeeeeee, because all info out there, well the very little that there is, makes my mind go in circles because they don't really get into well all the questions I asked, so their info/articles are like whAaaAaATttTt? So if you are knowledgeable in this area of computing, please please and thank you share your knowledge so I no longer will be a memory peasent, Thank You againnn
  3. First we need some software that tell us specs with statistics and graphs telling us clock speed over given time, power usage at given time max and minimums etc etc.. We need screen shots of msi afterburner and aida64 (yet download free 30 day trial) and also hwinfo, just google hwinfo, aida64 and msi afterburner to download. Once we have that sorted and have screenshots we can go from there.
  4. its not terrible, if you can maybe go down to 32gb, that is what i use, 3000mhz 32gb kit 8x4gb, and for gaming and heavy cad and adobe creative cloud, 32 has treated me well, and well i spose for another 100$ you can get 64 over 32, and if your already spending 310ish why not spend 400ish and get double, by spending another quarter, so makes sense, there is this kit if you are prime youll save a little, and i like to support kingston because they are literally best in the game, i love their product, and have ever and i mean never had a any kingston product go bad, and is the same as you were looking for just a little cheaper and better brand in my eyes. and NO WORRY NO SCAM, its sold and shipped by amazon, so its like the best name in memory, and its sold and shipped by the greatest onlin retailer, cant go wrong (and if you can wait 5 days )https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-HyperX-HX430C15PB3K4-64/dp/B01GCWQ72O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492067912&sr=8-2&keywords=64GB+DDR4+3000
  5. The funny thing is when you get above $1000, even if you change up the pc you will tend to come out with the same amount, yes that 2690 is a great build and it is a great processor, However the dual 2670's would put that to its test, and the 2670 build you parted out is almost the same price, so why not go with dual's, too much horsepower is never a bad thing, you never know what the future will bring and you may end up utilizing it. Although, i think you should go with the dual system, but both system would be great, so i think you've narrowed it down to those two, id choose the dual's, but your choice among those two, both would be great builds.
  6. oh and watch this too, inform yourself before you speak.
  7. watch that video in the conclusion he states number 1 "always get a z170 z97 or x99 capable board, watch that, and get educated on why shitty chipsets suck.
  8. thanks for the idea on a youtube video though, something like "budget pc build guide, and how to future proof correctly" appreciate it mate, and budget pc videos tend to get alot of views so i appreciate the idea and all the youtube $$ for it, thanks alot, ive been brainstorming for a good video to make.
  9. that wasnt even his original build.. and i can do this all night
  10. because you know as well as i do, that all computer lovers always want to upgrade and uprade and upgrade, so why not make it easy on your self and get the great parts from the get.
  11. HAHA what happens if he decides to go k series and wants to overclock, what should he do then pull out his motherboard and cpu, great choice, oh and how are is sata 6gb and his chipset gonna handle anything with that cheap ass h110, think man think, and its only 60 dollars less than mine, want future proof for 60 dollars more or no.
  12. hey there magician sorry for ruining your post someone decided to get smart and had to show him up, but go look at that build i built i think it would suit you now and in the future, or the prebuilt you picked would be great too and to upgrade to a gpu after christmas, but i think you will end up selling it or parting it out when you decide to upgrade down the road as to why i picked everything.
  13. all my build run dual xeons (one is being upgraded soon) with dual 980 ti's and a 980, so i got the bigger balls here, so i think i know what the correct form of future proofing is..
  14. dude dont be a f*&^king smart a$$ im trying to help, so ok tell him to buy a b150 board and an i3, and in a year damn i want to upgrade then he has to rip the processor out and the motherboard, use your head, id like to see the pc your using, and the setup you have. use your head, dont have to be a lippy smart a$$ f*&k, listen to what you said those things are way overkill, and thats not future proofing dumba$$ future proofing is getting ready for that type of shit.
  15. plus the power phases are built to par, offers raid, better bios support, more setting and tweaking options, offers more sata 6gb ports, more usb 3.0 there is such a big difference from using a shit b150 or h170 board compared to a good z97 or z170 or x99 chipset, i dont understand how people dont know these things,
  16. read my reply, no one ever thinks of future proofing, what about in 6 months to a year if he decides to get a better cpu and wants overclock and he has the money for it, then he would have to get a whole another board, dumb, nobody ever thinks about future proofing when building a pc..
  17. http://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/8LFdFd check out that pc part picker, great build and way better parts than what youd get with a prebuilt but youd just have to buy a case, the motherboard is really what is better, because you will be able to upgrade in the future to maybe a higher end skylake or the new kaby lake coming real soon, also it is overclocking ready so when or if you get a overclocking cpu you are good to go and dont have to get another board, that build i built is completely future proof. and 60 fps for both games isnt terrible but cs go players like to play around 110-130 because it is a fast paced game and higher frame rates help you out alot, as far as minecraft you would be ok, then upgrade after christmas like you said.
  18. you could game on minecraft with the integrated yes but your frame rates wouldn't be great decent yes likewise with cs go youd be looking at about 50 fps with the integrated graphics.
  19. you can game on the integrated graphics but not very intensive games, for for 70 euros you cant get to much that is going to be worth it for a gpu, can you build a pc at all?
  20. i have got a better build for you, if you dont want to overclock anyways, i would get a xeon, if you look at this website https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html you will see that the xeon e5 2670 scores 12,000 ish, and the i5 6500 scores around 7000 ish, the i5 has 4 cores 8 thread where the xeon has 8 cores and 16 threads for only $75 U.S. so look at this list, i think it will perform better than you original and any of the lists that anyone else offered. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-P9X79-LGA-2011-Intel-X79-Motherboard-6-Core-12-Threads-CPU-COOL-32gb-RAM-/282217911214?hash=item41b57f93ae:g:od8AAOSwxg5X1yWB llok at that ebay listing, its a combo deal which is a killer deal it has an asus workstation board with a 6 core i7 12 thread 3930k , and a cpu cooler, and 32gb of ram, like holy shit, that is cheap, all you need is a power supply and case, and hard drive, id get that if i were you, like im about to buy it to resell and part out, you would easily make more than your money back, that is a great deal for 500 dollars, you pc would be badass. otherwise look at this xeon http://www.ebay.com/itm/INTEL-XEON-SR0H8-E5-2670-2-6GHZ-20MB-CACHE-CPU-FOR-DELL-M620-/182177906143?hash=item2a6aa63ddf:g:qKAAAOSwGIRXaAiA and build the pc around that cheap xeon if you dont buy that asus combo, like honestly you would be dum no offense not too, that would be a badass pc to have, its being sold for 500, and if you parted it out it would easily cost 1200, and that still without hard drive power supply and case, I would jump on that deal if i were you.
  21. because our lists came out to the same prices, and im considering "future proofing" lets say he decides to upgrade to an i7 6700k or maybe he wants to upgrade to kaby lake when it releases, then he already has a great cooler for it, and again our lists came out to the same price.
  22. oh and im using the france part picker too, so the prices i say are your prices in your money too.
  23. http://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/sqYcM8 look at that parts list, better build for 875, thats the cheapest i think you should go, and you forgot a cpu cooler in your original build, unless you were just going to use the stock cooler in that case, subtract 75 from the list i just sent, and it comes out to 800, which isnt bad.
  24. i dont want to be a fan boy but do not choose the rx 480, i did a youtube video on the difference between them, yes they are sort of similiar, but i did a firestrike benchmark on the two, and the gtx 1060 whomped the rx 480 by about 3-4000 points, the gtx 1060 6gb is a beast of a card for the price point.
