teams is a steaming pile of hot garbage that is poisoning the corporate space.
it is difficult to outline just how many bad words i have about having to use teams for work.
actually.. here's one way to outline it: the push towards "everything is part of teams" is one of the significant reasons why i'm no longer in IT.
it is amazing how microsoft can make a product this god-awful, and force their partners to support this dumpster fire with zero pushback from the industry.
and yes - "force their partners to support" - in the 6 years i have been in IT, i havent seen microsoft support fix a *single* issue i've seen escalated to their so-called specialists. they are beyond useless. it is like asking the nosy janitor to weigh in on the situation.
they have built a total garbage framework, shoved it full of vaguely functional modules, allowed partners to pile even more untested garbage on top of that - have i mentioned microsoft has no internal testing anymore? - and then shipped that with no sensible tools to troubleshoot when things go downhill.. then expect partners that have essentially no "inside baseball" to keep it running.
microsoft seems to be actively smashing O365 into a brick wall in attempts to ruin their own product that at this point i'm actively rooting for ZOHO to *actually deliver a competitive product*...
long story short...
if the client has problems... use the browser version. it's not a fix, but some things arent worth trying to fix.
