Hi! First post in LTT forums, here goes my question: Is it possible that some mobile graphics cards use cpu integrated graphics cards for some calculations? I am pretty sure you can't, but some one in my CS program (not hardware oriented at all) said so a few hours ago and it kept bugging me. He said so because he was not able to disable the integrated card in his laptop, but could do so with the normal mobile one. My guess is simply that you cannot disable the cpu integrated graphics card, but no calculations are made on it since thats just not how it works with the same situation in a desktop...
