The issue is SJWs got involved with tech news. That means every large company is out to get us and got where they are by taking advantage of people. Not that they offer a product which beats the competition. So Nvidia just being stupid isn't enough, there must be marginalization.

Kyle's article never showed that as proof though ya know he selectively pulled out parts of the contract to talk about that, you can't do that, because contracts aren't one sentence long.

    its there
The crux of the issue with NVIDIA GPP comes down to a single requirement in order to be part of GPP. In order to have access to the GPP program, its partners must have its "Gaming Brand Aligned Exclusively With GeForce." I have read documents with this requirement spelled out on it

everyone just wrote it off because of his opinion

    not primary

adding your feelings to it cause aibs signed them contracts and started giving up their already established brands

maybe you should reread the article

dont think those brands are even close to billion yet many of their products are others products

You can't draw a line when the line isn't straight lol.  Did they do what Intel did?  Are they bribing AIB's not to use AMD GPU's or limiting their ability to get AMD GPU's?

MDF can be done with exclusivity of their products.  If they are spending money to advertise their products, it should go to their products and brands.  Not to another products in that same brand.  Effectively, right now with MDF, if it promotes Asus ROG graphics nV cards, it is also promoting Asus ROG AMD cards too, because Asus is using that MDF not only to promote Geforce cards but ROG Geforce cards.

No. Just no. If they only want to let partners that give Nvidia different branding the latest architecture avalible, that's within their right as a company. You can't force a company to sell something.

does coke tell xx company their deal with yy company? lol
    agreed, too much liberal wine
show me how they broke any laws
and I bet many people that dont deal with tech would agree that they should have their own sub brand to separate themselves from the competition

Companies drop programs all the time when they receive bad PR.   Intention and outcome are not always linked.

They don't own the brand but they own their brands and products, and they can do what the F they want with their brands and products when it comes to AIB's selling their products.

and that was what was in the contract, take what Kyle wrote with a huge grain of salt because what he wrote was a specific line in the contract and without the rest of the contract we have no DAMN idea what it means.  Not only that what he stated in the PCgamer video interview, totally contradicts what he stated in his article.  PC gamer interview he read a sentence that directly states AIB's must put nV products in separate brand lines.  They didn't need to use their current most visable brand for nV cards.  But the way Kyle wrote the article, "exclusive gaming brand" without that sentence he stated while reading, gave a totally different meaning.  Doesn't it?

So if AIB's made a new brand for nV cards, that will be their new exclusive gaming brand.

But for AIB's it was smarter to keep their current best gaming brand as nV's and put AMD's in another, since they make more money on nV card total sales.

Like i said, it's my opinion and its undeniable that the one on top don't like being associated with the one on the bottom.
How do you think Apple got so big now? Its because of their persistence in keeping their brand icon and name secluded from the rest of the tech companies out there like Microsoft.

They are premium, so buy us and not them unless you want inferior goods. Paid off for them and i'm assuming Nvidia wanted the same thing going for themselves.

Sure, its kind of scummy and will cost the AIB more money, but heck, the AIB aren't exactly in any position to make demands when all they are doing is leeching off both companies. That's how business run and that's how business will keep going forever until time ends.

And don't give me crap about something like the AIB companies helped build Nvidia to what it is today, that is nonsense. What built a company is their product and Nvidia is leading so of course they want to be paid well for it, who wouldn't?

    We will see with time.

I personally feel like they got what they wanted already and the brands will segregate the two companies regardless of contract to get on their good side.

And Honestly, this should've been the way to go with from the get go in my opinion. No company likes to have their products mixed with another companies so instead of blaming nvidea, im blaming the AIB for this,

We're talking about enthusiast computing. Well beyond the realm of "plug and play" Not everything is going to work so you'll have to invest some time and make it work. It's not as bad as it sounds and is quite rewarding.
You know the answer to that already.
