Then this whole "flaw" is a non-sequiter. If hackers have physical access to a machine there are all sorts of things that they can do that are logically impossible to defend against, let you side step any component, and are not considered exploits.

I mean, if they have physical access to the machine they can do literally anything they want to it.

Even for the given case, hijacking RAM, if you have physical access you can do that with an In-Circuit Emulator...

I really hope Intel doesn't lose any sleep over this, or give up performance to fix it, unless it can be exploited remotely.

no matter what i did new drivers or old drivers remaining there made things funky
same with some realtek drivers also
think this is why they added realtek to ddu also which was funny to me

also found out while ago that some games .ini(config) files need to be edited tweaked or even just erased (sometimes it gets set to read only too) if bringing to newer system
core/threads were still set to old config along with other things but if game could utilize more resources worth looking into if you arent getting that performance from a game thats from an old system install

pas008 reacted to C2dan88 in Xbox Series X will have dedicated sound card
Why are you getting hyped over this for?

By dedicated it is going to a sound processing chip added to the motherboard of the console. Just how PC motherboards have built in sound. Its not going to be (PCI-E) addon/external unit of console.

so everyone should just continue to use less efficient and more wasteful because we shouldnt go in the right direction?
