    Updates:
    Red cables will be used, not orange. Just to stick with the theme.  I can mount 1 120mm fan in the front at the bottom. There are spacings made for those fans, just not included on the site. I will have to make a fan holder from aluminium wich will be in black. I might mod the door to get better airflow, but it's plastic.. and that's risky to mess with that.  Raw higher quality pictures (excuse the mess lol) off the Phantom pre-mods uploaded: Here Paint pro Joey did some work and made the idea's in paint: Here (Im sorry about the texts, the pictures were very hugely sized so I downsized them a fair bit. But I just put the standard text about, 'replacing this, placing fan here, painting this, ..etc so if you can't read it, you probably know what I want to do anyway) After a little chat with my Color God @Snef I decided to sleeve my own cables. I hope they will look nice and clean. Will be fun to learn this and will have to watch some guides. He won me over after he showed me the color cables that he suggested to use and I was pretty much sold after I saw them: Here they are:

    I honestly, do have a couple things I could update.. but I prefer to make my next update the finished build.

    Hah, I am sorry. I will simply put it.
    Because of personal issues I lost a lot of my motivation for this build log.

    Maybe in a month or so I can get it finished. I am indeed playing CS:GO a bunch, but also am very busy with work. Work from 8 till 8 today so.. yes. I keep looking at my PC every day and know it is not a lot of work anymore, I only got 1 big issue with the PCI-E power cables. Once I plug them in.. PC won't boot. So I have to get this fixed, I allready tried to replug every single pin and that didn't help.. so I will try different connectors next time to see if that helps.

    No promises, but just a "maybe in about a month".

    So I had contact with Asus about those dead RAM dimms, they told me to contact my supplier who said. Check the cpu socket. It's useally a bend cpu pin. Wich indeed is this case. He as well added that this is something that says goodbye to warrenty. So, that's a little bummer. I mailed Asus with a sad face to see if they can do anything for me. But I am very doubtful of that.

    Thanks. And yes, I will dismantle the GPU and paint it once I get the new paint. Not to sure how much I will paint it yet, for sure all the yellow/orange will get a new color. My current paint is not exactly the noctua colors. The beige get's pretty close tho, the brown - not exactly. But I could get the exact same colors that Noctua uses from a car shop where my sister works. So will get these in a few days.

    I allready dismantled the thermal armor wich is laying next to me right now. I dont expect to get a new board. I will do my best to keep the "Z77 Sabertooth" text in it's silver color, but this will very likely take me a lot of time.

    B1 = FSP Raider
    B2 = Cost down version of the Super Flower Golden Green
    G1 = FSP Aurum Gold (with the exception of the 1000w G1 which should be a modified FSP Aurum Pro)
    G2 = Super Flower Leadex.

    For a 750w unit, it's G2 > B2 > G1 > B1, as such, I would recommend the G2 or the B2 depending on the price. Which the B2 is priced very well atm for $49.99 after MIR - making it an excellent value (probably the best at this price range atm). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438028

    I think the question is weather or not these threats are serious. ANY time I have played CoD or seen ANYONE play CoD there has been the threat of rape or murder. Does that make it right? Definatly not. But it does beg the question of what is a porptional response. I think that this was very level headed. She realized that it was mostly 12-year-old boys that were doing this and decided to talk to their mothers.
    Should this ever happen? No. But the point is that it does and it is not just to woemen. So claiming that this is a direct result of the sexism in the industry (which does exist), is at best a reach.

    I love that Linus Media Group makes money off of sponsorship, I think it's a great thing, but I do not think recommending a SHIT product is a good idea. His rationale was "it's cheap" well, an Intel 530 is the SAME PRICE and an MX100 is $10 more.

    Kiwiandapple reacted to Lavin in [Build Log] Phanteks Enthoo Primo: Ice Water
    Hello everyone!

    I'm a huge fan of Linus and watch a lot of his videos. I wanted to post my recent build in here to showcase the new Phanteks Enthoo Primo. I've been looking for a case that suited my needs and while I thought the 900D was gorgeous, it was simply too large for my tastes. Given that, the Enthoo is slightly smaller, it has so many features that cater to water cooling enthusiasts and it shows. I absolutely love this case and I see myself using it exclusively for years to come.

    I am also a custom sleever and I've been selling custom sleeve jobs on reddit. You can view my work here. Now that I've said this, I was not happy with the way the 24-pin turned out on this current build. I sleeved the stock cable and it was an absolute nightmare. I will most likely never sleeve another stock PSU. It's significantly faster for me to cut and crimp my own wires, than to de-pin a stock cable. I will do another 24-Pin custom cable on the next iteration of this build.

    UPDATE: The stream has been delayed due to circumstances that are beyond our control. The thread will be updated when a new date/time has been confirmed. Thanks for your patience folks!

    So what is this?

    This is a very rare opportunity to do a LIVE Q&A session with one of the folks who worked on the Haswell-E line of CPUs from Intel. He and Linus have connected already briefly and aside from trade secrets, you guys are welcome to ask any questions you want about the product, the development cycle, and what it's like behind the scenes working on an important product like this at Intel!

    Alejandro Hoyos, Product Marketing Engineer at Intel will be joining us for a Q&A and suggestion session on [DATE/TIME TO BE DETERMINED]

    Click here to find out what time it is in your time zone

    This will be a great opportunity to talk about your ideas, ask questions, and give feedback on this exciting new product.

    Not only that, but we'll be giving away TWO Intel Haswell-E CPUs on the show... Because Intel is sending us the CPUs and putting us in charge of shipping the prizes, the giveaway will be INTERNATIONAL.

    It will be streamed at http://twitch.tv/linustech, and the giveaway we're running is for LIVE VIEWERS ONLY.

    The main topic of the stream is basically up to you guys and we'd love to see you post your ideas in this thread ahead of time so we can figure out how to structure this to make it as entertaining and educational as possible!

    We want this to be a lot of fun and super interactive, so please post your ideas in this forum thread. Linus will definitely be taking more suggestions during the show as well, but it's great to have a starting point.. Folks who post in the thread versus trying to get their questions featured live *will* have a bit of an advantage!

    How do I win the swag?

    The winner will be chosen randomly from the live viewers of the stream during a random period, so make sure you're paying attention!

    Make sure you're registered for Linus Tech Tips forum and signed in while you're watching the live stream Make sure you're watching from somewhere that you'll have access to a browser Tune into the stream right at the beginning and make sure you're paying attention!

    Kiwiandapple got a reaction from George_0505 in [Question] Is there anything you would like to see from the Phanteks Enthoo Pro?
    I know that it's possible to place a 200mm fan on the top at the back, it's not possible in the middle but it is possible in the "front" if you mod it ever so slightly and remove the 5,25" bays I believe. But as far as I can tell you don't want to do that and this should be all possible.

    I will test this out just for you, but it got a Sata power cable included, I would not quite understand how this couldn't work. All it does is provide 12V power to the PCB wich then means that all fans will run at their max speed. I got a RM850.
