Any hard drive sold in the last 10 years can saturate 1Gbit/s, 100MB/s. Near on 100% of people with a NAS can max out a 1gbit/s connection, and while I wouldn't be surprised that only 90% of most homes don't have a NAS those that do can absolutely get additional performance from higher than 1gbit/s network.

nvpendsey got a reaction from handymanshandle in Why do parents get their Kids COD and GTA and stuff like this?
IMO, censorship is useless in the sense that kid come to know about the mature stuff one way or the other.
And for violent games, everyone knows that they are 'games' and most of the stuff people do in games can't be done in real life.

nvpendsey got a reaction from mikat in AHCI vs RAID
RAID means Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks.
It basically allows multiple disks to function a one disk with redundancy (except for RAID 0).
Since you are using only one disk you can't use RAID.And you shouldn't use it anyways.

    Go with AHCI
