  1. Anyone know any other software that boost microphone for onboard realtek audio? Max boost is just so quiet with this for some reason.
  2. I can already see mantle becoming a much bigger force than people take into account in the coming future. Considering they made it with their console architecture in mind, I could see AMD outperforming Nvidia in the next 3 years unless OpenGL and steambox really impact the market (but I highly doubt it).
  3. So I installed a 3rd case fan in the front (same model as the other two that come with the case) and after a few weeks of use I'm starting to hear this rattling. It's quite annoying, as it seems to be coming from the front. I've turned the fan controller down to the lowest setting, still get rattling. It isn't until I place a cloth underneath the legs of my case that the rattling tends to stop. It seems like the door on the front is the culprit, or the entire 2 inch thick piece that connects to the rest of the case. I'm unsure of which, but right now my case looks ghetto as heck just trying to dampen the rattling. Anyone else have this happened to their case? Also, if it makes any difference, my case is on a wooden surface.
  4. Got my browns in. The funny thing is, I pre-ordered august 30th like so many others. But this was on Amazon, and apparently they don't get the first rounds of k70s. Newegg however, had them in stock the week after 16th. Ordered and within 2 days I got my keyboard. If anyone is still getting delays for theirs, just go with newegg.
  5. HD 558s are $146 http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-504631-HD-558-Headphones/dp/B004FEEY9A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377969744&sr=8-1&keywords=hd+558 Has all the features AD700x's have but I think have a better SQ and don't feel so shallow with bass (also isn't as bulky). THat's my own issue with AD700x otherwise great phones. Well for PS3 I'm actually not sure. I don't use mine for console, and the only complaint I could see coming from that is that it uses a 1/8th adapter which is a bit bulky. Otherwise I rate this headphone above AD700x and M50
  6. This is my setup. Works really well. No one has complained about sound leakage either since it is an open headphone.
  7. You will hear everything with open ear headphones. It comes with pros and cons. You get that wider soundstage than closed, but you can hear everything around you. Think of open ear headphones as like listening to speakers on your ears. Honestly not a huge con, considering great the sound is for the HD558s. It's great overall headphones (music/movies/games). Awesome in games needing situational awareness. I own both M50s and HD558s and I wear HD558s waaay more. Mainly the sound signature isn't fatiguing and the comfort/clamping is almost like it's not on my head. But, M50s do have some pros that come with being a closed headphone; they have much better bass response (especially low freq) that open headphones can't really obtain. The sound is good for closed as well, but the soundstange is smaller than the HD558s. Up to you really and your preferences.
  8. It's nice. I'd like the idea of just white and black, but that's my 2 color rule about most things.
  9. I have to agree, function outweighs preference for me. Corsair k70 has everything I want in a mechanical keyboard minus the light color. I've accepted that there is no "perfect mechanical keyboard" out there for me, but Corsair k70 comes close.
  10. At night, it transforms into a tiny robot that massages your ear lobes gently while uploading skynet to your computer. Zowie EC1 Evo
  11. So excited. Now I'll I need is a mouse for it. Having trouble on that end as I can't decide if I want an ambidextrous mouse or not.
  12. The only bad experience I have had with GameStop is buying a $35 dollar used Xbox wired controller for pc. It was super scruffed up and I was told it was such a rare controller to have, but I was able to find a brand new black one for $30 online. I honestly think they were trying to get a sale.
  13. I heard some rumors that any DLC related content being released for ESO will also be another $15-30 including the $60 price tag, $15 a month, $400 for a new console and whatever there going to charge for online on this next gens.
  14. I'm in the same boat. I've been checking forums (specifically the corsair forums) and I found out it that a corsair employee confirmed end of august/early september. But I'm getting tired of waiting. It shouldn't be this hard to switch out the browns with the reds, I mean the board is going to be exactly the same except for the switches and color choices.
  15. I'm expecting that even when it comes out, it'll be sold out in the first hours. They just don't produce enough to meet demand.
