I own an Asus UX303 laptop with core i7-4510U, 8Gb Ram and GTX 740M. I upgraded from Windows 8 Home 64 bit to Windows 10 Home 64 bit.
My problem is that if I put the computer to sleep (either manually from the start menu or by closing the lid) the computer will go to sleep. However an error in the log file is generated Event ID 6008 description: The previous system shutdown at X:XX:XX AM/PM on X/XX/20XX was unexpected (X is replaced by number that is time and date). This happens every time. I tried going through the power settings, uninstall and reinstall graphics drivers and I also followed a bunch of guides online. This problem does not seem to be bound to any particular laptop model.
If anyone has encountered this problem and managed to solve it please post.
