  1. I just tested this: https://imgur.com/a/3jQvIGm (wasn't able to upload directly to the forum )
  2. I have an RX Vega 64. When I run a Squad, it runs at 60-80 FPS on epic graphical settings at 70-80% GPU load and 40-60% CPU load. When I run Squad at the lowest setting, 60-80 fps, but the GPU load is around 75% and CPU is 40-60%. In most game it's the same story. My FPS is at 40-80 fps, but my GPU usage varies according to the graphical setting. Why cant I run my game at over 40-80 fps range? I don't have V-sync enabled in any of my games or any FPS caps.
  3. My PC is drawing about 460 W while gaming and a max of 553 Watt when Maxed with FurMark and CPU Burner... I assume that 553 W is possible because of power loss (80+ gold)
  4. But how does that explain that time when I ran my gpu at 50% power on Tomb Raider?
  5. I thought I had the problem resolved until the same problem happened again to my computer even after replacing the GPU. But I have more information now (from testing): 1- the (video) cables are not the problem 2- Computer has no problem running Furmark + CPU burner for 1 hour 3- When playing "Rise of the Tomb Raider" it always crashes in a way that my pc turns off, but I can't power it back on. The only way to power it back on is to turn the PSU off for 5 seconds and turning it back on. The crash happens within 5-10 minutes (not exact, but it happens quickly) of launching the game. I experimented with the power limit via the "Sapphire TRIXX" tool and I was able to play for about an hour before the computer crashed in the same way at 50% of 100% power. Power consumption when from 240W @ 100% and 120 W @ 50% 4- I already RMAd with no sucess 5- I switched out GPU for an old gtx 745 that I had while waiting for the replacement to arrive and it worked fine with no problem for long sessions. Obviously I didn't try "Rise of the Tomb Raider" with it Any solutions? My best guess is my PSU is under powered, but it doesn't explain the weird problem of my monitor losing signal, but my rig being still on. my rig: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Purchased For $272.99 Motherboard Asus - PRIME B450-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard Purchased For $131.24 Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Purchased For $234.88 Storage Samsung - 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Purchased For $314.99 Storage Seagate - Barracuda 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Purchased For $98.69 Video Card Sapphire - Radeon RX VEGA 64 8 GB NITRO+ Video Card $499.00 @ Canada Computers Case DIYPC - Silence-BK ATX Mid Tower Case Purchased For $89.23 Power Supply Rosewill - Capstone 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Purchased For $83.99 Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $129.99 @ Newegg Canada Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1855.00 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-07-13 15:00 EDT-0400 Original Post:
  6. Seems like everything is fine. It crashed the first time (computer automatically restarted), but now it's running fine...
  7. No, cuz it wouldn't make sense. When it goes black, I have to power down my pc and turn it back on, everything is fine, which is weird. Playing around with the cable, the monitor is fine.
  8. Ryzen 5 2600x at stock settings (3800MHz). (I don't mess with OC) ?
  9. 1. What setting? 2. I tried playing with the cables with no sucess . I've even tried replugging it. 3. Its gpu: <70 °C; cpu: < 82°C under load. which doesn't explain why it turned off during web browsing...
  10. Sounds similar to my problem, but is it sporadic? As in does it always turn off when you run a game or a benchmark? Has it turned off while web browsing or other light tasks?
  11. My PC screen at the most random times goes black and says that it's going to sleep. I've had it happen to a couple times both while gaming and while web browsing. The tower is still on (fan is spinning and keyboard still lights up), but it remains unresponsive. When the screen goes black, there is no warning, it's just sudden, but else than that it reboots fine. Temperatures are fine (gpu: <70 °C; cpu: < 82°C under load). Is this a serious problem? If so, what is causing it? I also can't replicate it.
