Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming with custom Bios to remove most of the Caps and increase the Volage. Sadly the Card really does not like RAM overclocks but the core is running really stable at 1650 Mhz. MIght not be the best it can do but fpr the moment i will leave it where it is.

I know EK is basically the one product pushed here on the forums but i have to point out that i did have very good experiences with Alphacool components and sets at a bit of a cheaper price than EK.
 
As for the fitting size: 13/10 or 16/10 are the standards for softtubing.

On the contrary, Alphacool GPU blocks are among the most restrictive blocks out there. This is for the GPX GTX 980, but the actual block itself should be identical.It's the VRM cooling portion that they change between models.

I just use a valve connected to a 3 port adapter. The valve is additionaly plugged with a standart 1/4 cap. If i need to drain the loop i can just connect a fitting to the valve and drain everything without problems.

you could look for cooling components from Alphacool and Phobya. They look a bit more "industrial" than the "high bling" EK components but are a good deal more affordable. 
 
I have a soft tube loop based on those parts and i have nothing bad to say about them. http://www.aquatuning.de/ is a good source for both.

100000% not recommended, opening up a PSU can literally kill you, plus if ANYTHING goes wrong you could fry your whole pc (like a bad solder or something)

Honestly power supplies are not expensive, its easier, safer, and not expensive to just buy a good one

No, leave it alone. You don't want to be exceeding 1.3v on Haswell chips, certainly not for 24/7 use, anyway. If it makes you feel better, my 4690k can only manage 4.7Ghz at 1.29v, it's just not stable at 4.8Ghz anywhere under 1.3v. That said, I keep it at 4.5Ghz at 1.2v as that seems like the best compromise for day to day use.

I think the biggest fear isn't the fact that they are doing a new series but that it will (is that even english? sry..non native speaker) reduce the quality of the other videos because there is less time to produce them. New people working there might help with that but it doesn't gloss over the fact that the main characters will have less time doing individual videos.

I would really like to get my hands on this stuff to take it apart in a laboratory . Sadly it will take me at least another year to get enough access to our lab to to my own research but maybe i will remember in time. 
I just saw they added ATP-Salt to their product and now i am really interrestet if our body can even access pure ATP through the digestive tract. Thx for giving me something to read about while being on semester break.

i got 2 1440p monitors and a gtx970 and it works great. 
I usally play on one monitor while the other one is either idle or playing youtube videos or something.
 
I never had any issues plaing games like Fallout 4 or Witcher 3.
