  1. I played for like 15hrs before the big updates started. I kinda need friends to play with and get the hang of it again.
  2. Well ryzen performs a bit better with faster ram not sure if the 1st gen do as well, also check that the R5 1600 comes with a cooler or you'll have to purchase a cooling solution
  3. Going for faster ram is worth it for future proofing but use my suggestion as data for your research wait for more replies also look for more opinions so you end up with the most bang for the buck.
  4. If you're buying that specific card you could try to go for this PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor $109.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard MSI - B450M PRO-M2 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $74.99 @ Amazon Memory Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $74.99 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA - BR 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $32.39 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $312.26 Mail-in rebates -$20.00 Total $292.26 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-06-19 17:59 EDT-0400 Back to your original plan on the cpu but with faster memory and you could upgrade your GPU later on
  5. You are right. I didn't read the part where he mention the video editing. Edit: Also the R5 1600 doesn't come with a stock cooler does it?
  6. That GPU isn't worth the shot I would recommend something like this: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor $134.69 @ OutletPC Motherboard MSI - B450M PRO-M2 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $74.99 @ Amazon Memory Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $74.99 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA - BR 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $32.39 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $337.06 Mail-in rebates -$20.00 Total $317.06 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-06-19 17:42 EDT-0400 it goes a little bit over the $300 but even when loosing 2 cores you gain clock speed and an integrated GPU that's gonna be much better than the gt 710 and you could get a rx580 later on.
  7. The main reason I started this thread is cuz I wanna play fighting games, input lag can mess up a bit.
  8. Yo don't have to be an adult to be able to do stuff, find groups of people that get together, go to events, you can do stuff.
  9. Dude then you are the problem, you want to do stuff but you don't want to do anything? This whole thread has no point at all.
  10. Wait a few years and you'll see. But if all you want is more friends organize a lan party.
  11. Well I understand the feeling, I'm currently living in a country that's not my own. Working a slaving job and living in a routine with very few friends. But for me is the oposite I hardly have time to play games, and the people I used to play with can't play with me cuz our schedules don't match I wish I could go back to that golden age where me and my friends would stay up messing around online.
  12. Join a discord channel, make your time in front of the computer enjoyable if you don't know what to do, I draw when I feel burnt out, find a new hobby. You have a backyard? I remember setting up a camp out in my backyard and I would try to survive outside without going in the house only to go potty and shower and get supplies, that can be fun.
  13. Dang it! then I guess I'll do some more research, all DS4 are bluetooth capable? $60 plus tax, Ecuador has stupid prices for that kinda stuff.

I'm looking for a new MMORPG and possibly a gro…

I'll look into it. I'll probably try it out when I get my next paycheck, I'm kinda short on money rn but let's keep in touch. You can add me on steam if you want, what other games you play besides ESO?

How does ESO work? I mean there's a ton of expansions out for what I know do I have to buy all of them or buying the latest will give me access to previous content?
  16. DS4 has better support for steam games?
  17. Thanks and could it have issues with a generic bluetooth dongle?
  18. I'm looking for a new MMORPG and possibly a group to play with. I mostly play the "tank" role.

There's a subscription/membership based recurring fee called "ESO+" which gives you access to all DLC while you are an ESO+ member. The best part about ESO+ is the craft bag which lets you store all your craftable materials in an "unlimited" bag rather than have these crafting mats take up your precious inventory space.

Otherwise you can purchase each DLC as you see fit and own it forever.

My friend and I just got back into the game a month or so ago and get on every now and then so I'd be happy to add you and show you around!

  19. Hello, I want to buy an Xbox one controller to use on my via bluetooth (I have a bluetooth dongle) but I'm not sure which is the controller model compatible with bluetooth. Are all of them compatible? If you guys can reply with an amazon link or some info I will appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance.
  20. I dunno, This is my first build upgrading from a stone-age system, but knowing that is relieving. Thanks!
  21. My plan is to use the ssd as the system drive and to put my online games in there which I'll be playing quite often, would that be counted as hammering? :c
  22. I recently purchased some parts for my ryzen5 build, and right after buying said parts I realized something frightening.... The motherboard's M.2 slot sits right below the PCIe Slot. The motherboard is an MSI B450m Pro VDH Plus and I bought the beefy 3 slot Gtx 1660 XC from EVGA. My concern is: Will the ssd be affected by the heat from the GPU? What do you guys recommend? Should I not use an M.2 SSD? I'm I overthinking this? Please HELP! :c
  23. Hello guys, I need your help deciding what parts to pick. I have 2 Graphics card in mind but I don't know which one to pick. My plan with this build is mainly Game at 1080p 60fps but also I would like to stream these games. So help me clarify my thoughts 'cause i'm currently leaning towards the 1660 I also don't know if the parts combo would be the best for performance. Note: I've already purchased the motherboard. I live in ecuador and a friend is coming to visit from St. Louis Missouri, she offered to bring me computer parts, which also determines some of the parts I picked because I have a limit of around 10lb, also if any of you can recommend a store in St. Louis MO (or near) that has better prices for the parts listed feel free to recommend those as well. besides getting help with picking the parts I would take advice in how to pack the parts in a suitcase for traveling Note: I've allready purchased the motherboard.
