AMD Radeon VII Benchmark/Launch Mega Thread

Well... it isn't bad but it isn't anything to write home about. I'll just keep waiting.
  2. Some pretty weird results. Either way.... embargo ends Thursday. Not worth getting all worked up about this.

Megathread: a noncomprehensive list of CES 2019

That Asus 43" display looks awesome, wonder if it will eventually fall under NV's new "gsync compatible" adoption of freesync displays. Cause I'd jump all over that display.

    Intel 9900K Reviews

8700K seems like the better buy, 9700k if it sold for MSRP. From a gaming perspective.
  6. http://www.principledtechnologies.com/ They pretty clearly say they are a marketing firm. Benchmarking/testing is basically a presentation tool for them.
  7. Updated three PCs, no loss of files or issues so far.
  8. Saw a new accord in traffic the other day that had been pretty much blacked out. The chrome "brow" appeared to have been wrapped in black. Was actually a good improvement. I very much like the headlights and the side body lines of the new Accord. The rear could use some work. Dropping the V6 was a terrible mistake.
  9. I agree, I had the same questions in my prior post. If I was the investigator I'd seek more footage from the camera available dating back further to just see what kind of activity has been there leading up to the incident. May see something there. It will be interesting to see how this gets resolved.
  10. Indeed, I didn't suspect anything but the suspects being familiar and given he is a business he'd be easy to find through a listing at the secretary of state etc. For a time finding people was my job, put in the effort and you'll find them eventually. But consider running to your PC setup disconnecting it as fast as possible and moving all its components from your office to a van down stairs in the garage. Even with two people doing a few setups like that, TVs, and everything else.... 30 minutes sure is fast and efficient. It's just my biggest hang up atm.
  11. I don't know TechSource from a hole in the wall. I've watched the channel here and there and recently subbed just to see how this all unfolds. I was a cop for a time and looking at it from that perspective I can say that anything is possible. His story is possible. Knowing who did it but not being able to prove it, is possible. This all being a fraud, is possible. Some things I've mulled over..... Just questions I'd be asking myself if I was looking at this case. The white van seems cliche but rentals for theft are common place. Typically (at least around here) they are usually standard large vehicles as they can be harder to pinpoint. There are only so many places that rent white commercial vans. It'd be one of the first things I'd look into. They were pretty efficient in clearing out an entire office. I mean rewatch the video, nearly everything is gone. It is almost akin to a complete move.... in my experience scenes usually have more of the useless items left behind. All that fit in the one van? One trip? Maybe he didn't have much but considering the size of his channel and history of unboxings and projects there had to be a substantial amount of products there. I struggle that it was all crammed into one van load of that size, and done during that period of time. 30 minutes to empty that whole office? Again I suppose it is possible, but I question it. If I was the investigator I'd seek more footage from the camera available dating back further to just see what kind of activity has been there leading up to the incident. Again, I'm not accusing anyone, these are just questions I'd have if looking into this. I understand he wants to clear the air but it really is in his best interest to not release such details and "try to get ahead" of any accusations. Lawyer up and let them handle it. The details he is sharing don't do much for the parties not involved (in this case, us the viewers) to satisfy the doubt he is getting. Manager wasn't able to confirm/deny it was in fact a robbery cause well... she can't. She can just confirm what was reported. The texts are about the same they add context to the reported incident sure. The insurance emails just raise more questions (I own a business and my Landlord would be up my ass about the insurance) about that situation. The Sheriff's Office if called about the issue most likely wouldn't say anything about the case other than they have a case... So I'll say it again. Lawyer up let them handle it and let the Detective handle it. I hope the truth is sought and comes out to the benefit of the innocent.

    RTX Reviews

Watched Paul's review.... I think I'll hold on to my money and invest in a new cpu/mb instead. 2080 non Ti isn't worth it at all, and the Ti is.... well I just don't want to spend that much on a gpu again. not for ~15% improvement.

3DMark score for RTX 2080 Ti leaks

Hopefully it is an early driver issue but idk, I'm not expect waves. My Titan X Pascal overclocked gets 11,111 for a graphics score in the same test. I'll admit my expectations were probably unreasonably high for the new cards.

RTX 20 Series Cards Confirmed With Pricing

So any idea what we're looking at performance wise and I know reviews aren't out... but like guesstimations? Would I be looking at 2x the perf of a Titan X Pascal?
