I tried, but it appears that neither Puppy nor DSL can bypass secure boot since I have a class 3 UEFI. Basically I was looking for a similar barebones distro that could do the trick, but so far I haven't found any...

So I have this Asus F102BA lying around which is a super basic netbook that was gifted to me some time ago for no apparent reason. It used to run Win8 but having only 2 gigs of RAM of which a quarter is is for the GPU (AMD A4 apu of peace and prosperity running at a whopping 1 Ghz), it basically used to froze whatever you did, even typing was bad. I wanted to make this a typing machine that I'd use at uni but it appears that even Lubuntu is a little bit heavy for this sucker. However I'm having trouble loading on it the lightest distros apparently because of the UEFI bootloader. It would be cool if someone here had some experience on this sort of system or maybe some recommendations about the distro to use and how to install it.

I'd really need the keyboard because playing CS:GO on the iMac at the office would be a slightly lesser pain ;(
