  1. If 75Hz is the answer I'm left with ASUS VX279H and LG 27MP68VQ-P. Specwise identical except the LG has FreeSync, tho I don't feel like playing HotS at 75 FPS which would make the FreeSync feature useless so I will probably go for the ASUS. What do you think?
  2. Hi, I plan to buy new monitor and I've selected a few models from which I will choose one. The difference between those is the refresh rate: 60hz, 75hz and 75hz with FreeSync. So i have couple of questions. Does 75Hz refresh rate is any better than 60Hz? ; Is there difference between 75Hz and 75Hz with FreeSync? ...and Does even 75Hz FreeSync monitor make any sense if i can push like twice the FPS? (I mean should i limit myself to 75FPS with FreeSync if i can just play at 150+ provided the screen tear doesn't bother me too much) I'm looking for the cheapest option, unless paying a bit extra for that 75Hz is worth. Thanks. : )
  3. Also cheaper mb and cpu cooler wont hurt the experience... right? I plan to get ASRock Z170 Extreme4 which is a bit cheaper but also good with a 6600k and cheaper cooler (not too shit tho).
  4. Hi, i'm currently using the mighty NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M... on a laptop. So when i realized i need more i decided to go desktop and i've picked the components already. I plan to go Z170 with ASRock Z170 Extreme4, i5-6600k... but i haven't yet decided on a graphics card. I'm waiting (while saving up) for the new graphics cards to be available in the places i look for so i can compare the prices (for my region) and performances and decide.
  5. Hi, i plan to buy new pc in the next few months. My goal for now is 1080p gaming like Heroes of the Storm, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Minecraft, Overwatch, GTA V (I like eye candy btw). But eventually 4K and VR, maybe in 1-2 years, atleast second generation VR sets. I dont have a set budget. But i dont want to spend much more than i need to. So i have selected some components like the i5-6500 and gtx 970, 850 evo 500Gb, 16G dual channel DDR4, and FD Define S Window. I think those should be enough to play on max in 1080p with a bit of breathing room? But i cannot decide about the motherboard, should i pay extra now for expandability and eventually get to oc-ed i7 and gtx 10xx or 11xx in SLI? Or buy the cheapest system that suits me for now (previous gen or/and used even?) and then (in maybe 2 years) build new one with... Idk ddr5, pcie 4 or whatever special needs next gen VR might have? The specific models im considering right now are ASRock H110M-DGS with Corsair CX600 or ASRock Z170 Extreme4 with Corsair RM750x.
  6. Hi, would 6500 bottleneck 1070? If yes: Option1: What about 970? Option2: What about oc-ed 6600k? I'm planing to buy new pc in the next (2-3) months: ASRock Z170 Extreme4 (ASRock H170M Pro4) i5-6500 2 x 8G HyperX Fury DDR4 Samsung 850 Evo 500G GTX 970 (whatever is on promo at the time of purchases from ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI...) Corsair RM750x (Corsair CX600) FD Define S Window Do you think i can go 1070 without making the system cost much more (it currently costs around 1300USD)? Thanks. : )
