Well, without further information, one can't really recommend anything. It depends on your current components (psu,cpu,...), budget, resolution, how long you want to use it etc.

Ajukrezi reacted to Bouncewasp in Anybody knows why i cannot install windows 10 on my new ssd drive?
I'd suggest unplugging all other HDD/SSD drives when reinstalling windows and just have the boot drive powered. This way, you should only see one option when installing Windows. Also at this stage I would delete any/all partitions so Windows just sees a single drive.

Also, just check you've downloaded the right windows version of the tool, i.e. 32-64bit? I had an issue recently when I was using a USB install media to install windows on my new MATX system and I forgot the version of the tool I had was 32-bit due to messing about with upgrading a 10 year old laptop that wouldn't take 64-bit. I still managed to get windows installed OK thought, just had issues with drivers which made me realize my error.

Ajukrezi reacted to Moonzy in CPU upgrade: 5600x enough?
    Op have a 7600k
While 4c/4t CPU is a bit lacking these days, as long as OP is fine with it then he doesn't have to upgrade it yet
I proposed a potential solution to his reason to upgrade, if he still wants to go ahead then sure, it is definitely a significant upgrade, if his tasks are limited by his CPU (which it probably is)

Silicon lottery is not about any one chips basic performance. It refers to overclocking capabilities, or on the other end, how hot or how much voltages chip needs to run at stock settings.

Your question is, is the hardware performing as it should be. Considering we are talking about 6 year old locked CPU, 4 year old lower-end GPU and 5 year old game. Looking at some benchmarks, you are seeing expected result.

Ajukrezi reacted to unclewebb in Processor speed is stuck at 0.78ghz
Download ThrottleStop, open the Limit Reasons window and see if BD PROCHOT is lit up in red. This is a common throttling problem on some recent Asus motherboards.

If this is red, clear the BD PROCHOT box on the main screen of ThrottleStop. Put a load on your CPU. If your CPU goes up to full speed, this is the problem. This means that a sensor on your motherboard has failed. The board will need to be replaced or you will need to run ThrottleStop. This is the only way to get the CPU to ignore these external throttling signals.

Make sure you are running the latest BIOS. Maybe this issue has been recently fixed.

Those are really low temps with a really high clock for a 3600. sounds like you got a really nice chip there.  50° and 85° are much more common numbers.

The issue is 7nm and chiplets make for serious density and thus under ihs heat transfer issues.  You could probably have a much smaller cooler and get very similar temps.  If you’re concerned with metal contact there’s always lapping.

    My thoughts
Yeah, printer security doesn't seem that important and these kinds of hacks have been done in the past (as mentioned in the article), but looks like people didn't get the memo the first few times. And it's better to get a helpful guide on how to secure your printer rather than something more nefarious.

iam pretty sure there is a limit to how much  time etc you can spend on those WIFIs to prevent that sort of thing.
And 200m away with higher buildings in the way is really gonna hurt you. especially since higher than 1st floor could indicate concrete buildings which really kills the signal.
you might be able to get a signal but the thing you start the thread with is unstable, that is not gonna be better on the public version AT ALL.
