  1. Never, ever forward port 3389 or even port 5900 straight to the internet. Many of the cryptolocker attacks work by exploiting this port. This is an RDP / VNC port and if it is open hackers can relatively easily access your entire computer. Not worth it. If you need to access ports outside of a network use a router with VPN capabilities.
  2. Pay ~£86 + Line Rental (£196 per year) for 350 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. Also have top tier TV with 3 set top boxes, premium channels (Sky/BT Sport, Sky Cinema) and unlimited calls (01/02/03/080/0845/0870)
  3. Pay ~£94 for 300/20 FTTC, Full TV Channels (BT / Sky Sports & Sky Cinema) and anytime premium phone calls (01/02/03/0870/0845)
  4. Looks like it is fixed. Thank you so much. I hope it won't be back any time soon.
  5. I have recently begun having problems with my GTX 980Ti. Every time I restart the PC the card seems to stop working. My FPS crashes from 144 to 20 in games. If I do a clean install of the latest driver from GeForce Experience that seems to fix the issue but it returns next time I restart the PC. My 980Ti is completely as new and has not been overclocked etc. Any help on this issue would be really appreciated.
  6. Solved issue. Fixed with clean driver install.
  7. Recently my 980Ti has been producing suspiciously low frame rates. After only getting 20 fps in GTA V (1440p High-V. High Settings) I decided to use MSI Afterburner to check useage. It turns out the GPU Power % will not go above 47%. I have not seen this happen before. I have tried changing my power setting in Nvidia Control Panel to 'Prefer Maximum Performance' and also downloaded the latest driver from GeForce Experience (372.70) I have attached a link to the MSI Afterburner screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I think the build is very good and should be powerful enough for live streaming up to 1080. If streaming at 1440 or above I would go for X99. Also you should seriously consider building the PC yourself. It is not that difficult and in the case of your build could save £200. Is iot worth £200 just to get someone to build the pc for you? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/dRGMbj
  9. Have tried to initialise the 2TB drive but I get this error. Two of the 1TB drive are showing up as a single 2TB Error: https://postimg.org/image/9gmor5jep/
  10. Have run short generic test and the ST1000 drive failed. Now what. Do I need to replace the drive and if I do will it fix the RAID issues?
  11. Have run SMART test and both drives passed. What do those SMART errors I saw in CrystalDisk mean and should I be bothered by them.
  12. WD drive is OK. Have downloaded the SeaTools utility and am running a long generic test.
  13. Both the failed drives are Seagate. There is also one Samsung and one WD. (Sorry for double post. Forgot to reply.)
  14. Both the failed drives are Seagate. There is also one Samsung and one WD.
  15. I have been running a Windows Server 2012 R2 file server on 4x 1TB drives in RAID 10. I am using an Asus H170M-Plus using intergrated Intel RST. In the last couple of weeks the RAID has been failing once a week. I would create the RAID, then it would appear as degraded, then within five minutes it would fail. I am not sure what the error is but I took all four 1TB drives out, plugged them into my main rig and looked at CrystalDiskInfo and found some interesting errors on two of the drives which can be seen below. Image 1: https://postimg.org/image/cszn4u38n/ Image 2: https://postimg.org/image/omaq7axiv/ I now have two questions. A. What does this mean? B. Would this error explain the issues with the RAID or could it be a faulty controller. Thanks
