  1. The question is in the title sometimes Lenovo Nerve Sense's Network Priority option only detects two files related to lenovo but it doesn't detect the game I want it to detect the game because I use several bandwidth-hungry applications so I don't want my ping to stutter etc.
  2. Yeah think I'm good though since it's only a few days then I'll install all the updates.
  3. But I'm not using it? I'm also not charging it, how will removing the battery help?
  4. So basically my whole question in the title, I have a laptop right now but I'm not using it much since I'm on vacation so if I left it off for a few days at a time will that have any effect on it? And opposite is it better to leave it off if I don't really want to use it because the whole reason I'm opening the laptop is for the sake of just running it. So should I keep it off until I need it or is it better to turn it on every other day?
  5. Well does it really make a difference in fps in games or does it make no difference at all since there are no issues with the temps? Isn't there like a boost thing for nvidia gpus that allows them to go way over their base clocks if the temps are low?
  6. Hey, so I was wondering if I kept the extreme cooling in lenovo nerve sense on for like 5-6 hours in a row in the long run end up damaging the fans? I don't really need it but the added sound doesn't make a difference with me and could it ever make my laptop "too cool" where it's bad for it and actually damaging the hardware? Please answer.

  10. If it's for gaming maybe change the cpu to something weaker and get the gtx 1070? If you're only gonna be gaming at 1080p then the 1060 is fine but if you want it to be more future-proof or just be able to play 1440p at better settings with better framerates maybe consider getting the 1070 over the 1060.
  11. Have you tried disabling the applications that start in task manager>startup ?
  12. Nice review I might do one too but when I have unlimited internet so I can really give a detailed review the battery cap thing was really useful didn't know about it I always play plugged I never run on battery like ever since I got it I never ran it on battery so it's cool to have it plugged in while having peace of mind. I got mine with the GTX 1060 Max-q About overclocking could you give more details or make another post of how to overclock because I wanna overclock the gpu to fill in the 7-10% gap between the gtx 1060 and 1060 max-q. Does it overheat when you do it, will it lower the lifespan of the laptop? If so, by how much?
  13. But it has some important features like network priority, extreme cooling, recording etc. I use it but I just don't want it to slow down my startup time.
  14. So Lenovo Nerve Sense keeps automatically running whenever I open my computer. I've disabled this in the options within the application I also went to task manager>startup and disabled it there but it still starts automatically. What should I do?
  15. Hi, so in Lenovo's app "Lenovo Nerve Sense" there's a network priority option which is supposed to prioritize applications (meant for games) in terms of bandwidth to decrease ping and improve overall connection. The thing is the game I'm trying to prioritize "Fortnite : Battle Royale" isn't showing up in the list for me to boost it up instead, what is shown is it's launcher "Epic games launcher" now I was wondering by boosting the launcher will it boost the connection of the game itself or will it not make any difference? And if it won't make any difference how do I get the game to show up as an individual game in the list?
