  1. So i got a new asus strix r9 380 for my bday and i plugged it in and started to play with it, anyway i wasnt really concerned at first about my game fps. i have all my drivers installed and everything and then i went to play block and load, my old gpu (sapphire r7 250x) was on high setting and gathering around 50fps-60fps, this r9 380 is around 20-30fps and is really struggling and so i went into the gpu tweak you get with my asus r9 380 and checked what it was on and it was on performance. Considering the r9 380 was 168 pound and the r7 250x was around 90 pound im really expecting a lot more, Should i send it back or do you know of any ways to fix it ?? thanks in advance
  2. You could stay with amd and go for an Fx 8350 or Fx 8320 but if you do choose to upgrade what are you wanting to do, unless you just love to render stuff then you might as well stick with the one you have got but if you truly want to upgrade what's the rest of the system like there's no point of having an amazing cup and rubbish everything else, I think LTT did a video on cpu showdowns but I'm not fully sure
  3. I've already made a thread asking how to make a keyboard but now I've stumbled upon another issue, I can't find any switches. Unfortunately I don't have the money necessary to buy cherry mx blues and so I've been looking at brands like gateron and Kbt but I cant seem to find a place which sells them in the uk, I have looked on Amazon and eBay and gaterons on Amazon but "Currently Unavailable " and on eBay it's just way overpriced like 5 pound for a gateron key EACH and kbt is on neither. Whenever I search the brands nothing comes up apart from reviews on reddit and other place but no where to buy them. I'm even contemplating whether I should just buy a keyboard then take the mechanical switches from it but if I'm doing that I'll waste money and time which could easily resolved with finding a place which sells the switches and ships them to England. Thanks In advance
  4. I forgot to answer... Either will do there won't be much difference
  5. If you have some more money then go with the artic thermal paste however I had the fx6300 with the stock cooler and it was fine it didn't really overheat the only suspected issue I had with it was that something in my pc was awfully loud whether it was the case,GPs or cpu fans I don't know but it could have been the cpu fan
  6. What would I have to do for that, I can cut a template of a qwerty 109 key keyboard then would I just put the parts in and start soldering
  7. In May I have decided that I want to build a mechanical keyboard, I have some money saved up and my old ones kinda rubbish so I think I'm due an upgrade. I have the money and some knowledge of how to build one I have looked everywhere and can't find a keyboard PCb, there are loads out there but the only issue I have is that they only ship in the USA and I live in Britain I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a site which sells the parts (By parts I mean keyboard PCb, I have all the key caps, switches, resistors and diodes) I would appreciate it if anyone knows a site where to get the keyboard PCb and any other parts I haven't listed above, also I have the case sorted. Thanks In advance
