inventory suggestions for inventory software
Kung-Fury posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hi guys i need some advice. I work at an company that stores a lot of hardware from other clients, now its very hard to keep track of all the hardware items at the storage. Now i did some testing with Snipe-It (https://snipeitapp.com/) the program itself works but wtih an empty database snipe-it uses over 150GB just to run it. And Snipe-it is in my opinion to much because we only need to store hardware. so my questions to you guys is what do you guys recommend? i needs to have QR/barcode code support, a web interface, a mobile interface, and that we can self host on our own servers and it needs to be open-source or an one time payment software (no subscription software or pay per upgrade software) and how Linus does this? i have seen the orginisation vlogs but can't see what kind of software they use -
Crashplan i cannot self host.
-
We want to host it ourself so we are *the cloud*
-
first we wanted a full backup including OS and then only backup the data that was added, changed, or removed.
-
i am looking for a backup solution for our comstumers so that they can backup to our server (the cloud) and if there systems crash that we can easy restore them.
-
Dear LTT forum members, I want to get an backup solutions for our costumers. We have a own server but I am looking for a good piece of software to do that Do you guys have any ideas? I was thinking about acronis backup solutions.
