  1. Yeah i had a look online and i can pick one up for about £75 and it comes with a 2 year warranty. Definitely seems the best idea plus with it only running 720p the chances I need to change anything will be significantly lower (maybe an ssd at some point though )
  2. That's great to hear 720p should be absolutely no problem then. I know I could go buy pretty much any card, but figured I may aswell get somthing that's best built for it rather than something way over the top
  3. Ahh I didn't Think to check on the 750ti. I'll have a look around, thanks both of you!
  4. Hey all, just looking for some advice really. My partners got a rig that we made from old and spare parts about a year or so ago. At the time it wasn't really used for anything major, she was never really into gaming, and so didn't need anything fancy. However, she has developed a love for plants vs zombies gw2. And I've realised that even though she's only gaming on a 720p screen, the hd7770 in there, is struggling. It starts off ok but after an hour or two it gets a bit laggy. Now my thinking is this is the fault of the card, and by upgrading that I can sort it out. But I don't want to go completely overkill on this rig, there is no need as it will never be used at a higher resolution. I'm happy with the 8gb ram and the fx4300 I put in there, but I feel like the GPU may need changing out. What would be the best thing to go for without getting somthing completely unnecessary for her? Many thanks
  5. With my cards I have the oc tweak software installed aswell as aura and I'm pretty sure there's an option for it in there, as my lighting on both cards is always saved and ran during boot
  6. going to try and stick around these forums a bit more from now on

  7. Great deal and great psu too! Good find
  8. Of course its a LG 43UF770V got it just over a year or so ago, im sure much better TV's are out now but im happy with this one so far
  9. I use a LG 4K TV with its game mode and can safely say i have felt no considerable input lag. i used a rog swift before that, sure it was a little better, but very very minimal. as long as you dont get a super cheap screen i think you would be ok
  10. Does it happen with just fifa? if so it might just be worth giving the game a reinstall and seeing if it makes any difference. A while ago my controller didnt connect to fifa16 and a reinstall solved it.
  11. About 2-3 hours, but that was a few years ago and since then upgrades were made every few months. It never seems to end
  12. none, i just buy the blu rays most of my hdd's are games and music :P
  13. have you tried running it in XP compatibility mode? could be currently driver software issue
  14. ahh how odd :/ i dont use the software so i hadnt a clue :P glad its all sorted now :)
