ddrkreature got a reaction from Roll_Like_Rollo in Experiences with non-techies
Volunteering in a beginner web building class in high school. Trying to help a pair of students.
Me: "So after you do this and this (referring to the typed instructions), go ahead and save."
Students: "uh, OK". *10 minutes later* "OK what now?"
Me: "Did you save?"
Them: "Do what?"
Me: "Save your work"
Them: "How do I do that"
Me: go to file and click on save or just click the button that looks like a floppy disk"
Them: "what's that?"

Are you upgrading from a sata ssd or a hdd.
I wouldn't upgrade from a sata ssd, id would from a hdd.
No use getting a 60gb ssd. Id go 250 or bigger.

i5. i5 i5 i5 i5 i5. AMD's APUs are spectacular for their designed purpose, and their Athlon x4 860K remains my favorite extreme budget gamer CPU. Until Zen comes out, however, their high-end CPUs are only good for warming buns at idle, toasting bagels under moderate load and as implements of arson during stress tests.

Hi every one,
The Doom build is just about done, Just some small details to go.
Sadly there will be no cooling fluid added to the build for some time to come as I don't have a CPU for the build yet.
Thanks again for stopping by.

Could Konami or Nintendo penalize Fox for using their game footage without permission? That would be hilarious.

You don't need all the extra switched and nobs. If you want to alter the recorded audio, it would be better to do it in post
