I use 16gb currently on my PC but I can't carry my desktop to college. Most of the reviews I have seen seem to find it to be high quality plastic.

How is the build quality of the components in the Aero 15? Will the laptop last me at least 3 years? Is it worth upgrading it to 32gb ram and a PCI-E SSD or just keep the SATA one?

I would get the 7th gen since you want the blade, but might I suggest the Aorus X3 V7. -
