With 300 (pounds?) I'd get a gpu upgrade since you'll see a massive improvement in streaming and gaming. The most ideal would be a 3060 such as this one

But if 300 (pounds?) Is a hard cap then I'd go for a 6600.

Definitely upgrade at least the gpu. Either a RTX 3050 8GB or a RTX 3060 12GB gpu. The RTX 3060 will be a much better improvement though.

GPU comparison and other game testers usually set their settings on high-ultra or just ultra btw. If you set the in-game settings to just high settings, you'll see much better fps.

Sort of. There are programs (such as AOMEI Partition Assistant) that actually automatically align the partitons. In reality they just do what you said.

It's way safer to do it your way tho

Copy all your data from the existing partition to another drive, delete the partition, create a new one with the desired size.

That's the only way. Partitions can only be extended to the right/to the end, not to the beginning - that's how internal data structures work.

EDIT: It is actually possible to do it, but it is a lot more complicated as it requires rewriting all the sectors and modifying the whole data structure. This takes a lot of time, is very prone to errors and therefore corruption and data loss, so just don't do it.

If you can clone to the new SSD do it. I definitely think that's the best course of action.

Yeah I've been using ableton for a couple years. When you install Ableton it automatically takes the C drive as your VST and plugins location and if that is full it gives you that message. I seriously recommend that you offload as much from your 120 GB SSD because when they fill up they get really really slow.

    Good Luck!

A lot of programs won't install on drives other than the OS one, so either make room by moving any personal data to the new drive or wipe the new drive and clone the old drive onto it transfer the OS.

I've used Macrium with success and Acronis that comes with Crucial and other drives.  They will initially set a partition the size of the drive you're cloning but you can make it larger.  Just be mindful of the behavior.

I don't think you can clone one drive and then another so I believe you'll have to clone the OS drive first and then copy the files from the other and then re-install the games.  Be mindful to save configs and other game save files for copying after re-install.  I'd imagine there will be some re-setup for games after though.  Unavoidable unless you can clone one drive to a new drive and then clone another drive to the same new drive.  Again, I don't think you can though so the OS drive is the drive to clone first.

What you are describing is "cable memory". In general there is no real way to deal with it as bending it back the opposite way or heating it can risk creating damage to the cable itself. Usually just time of being in a new position will have some effect. You could also try to route the cable so it lays in a different orientation. Cable combs would be the natural first go to tool, but as you noted you have already done that.

Almost finished my first PC build and I am unsatisfied with some of the wires at the front of the case. I've seen these clips (photo attached) and would like to add some to my 8-pin connector from my GPU but I don't have a clue what they're called or where I can find them?

You need custom cables sleeved to work.
