  1. It won't let me delete the 527 or expand the 110, I'm lost
  2. So here's my issue... I've just cloned my old SSD to my new one which has much more free space. The old one is the Kingston and the new being the Samsung. I've booted it up the correct way, and it has given me these separate partitions, including the name of the old drive. I was wondering if there was any way to combine them so it all falls under the same disk and name ?
  3. Thanks man, appreciate it. I understand what you're saying till about mid way through... Is there anything you can point me to help me digest the information. I'm sure what you're saying is totally valid, I've just not got to knowledge to comprehend it yet.
  4. So here's my issue... I've basically just cloned my old SSD to my new one which has much more free space. The old one is the Kingston and the new being the Samsung. I've just booted it up the correct way, and it has given me these separate partitions, including the name of the old drive. I was wondering if there may be a way to combine it all under one?
  5. Do you think I should jus offload? Or copy the OS to the new drive? Thankyou
  6. Ok so here's the issue... I have recently just purchased Ableton Live Suite 10, with a new 1TB SSD. My PC currently holds a 120GB SSD (with my OS on) and a 1TB HDD (to store other files, games, work etc). So, I install my new SSD and format it into my system. As the old SSD is nearly full, showing a red bar on 'this pc'. Anyway, I come to install Ableton and I definitely choose the correct location for install, on my new, empty SSD. But every time I do so, the installer tells me that I'm trying to install it on my nearly full Cdrive. Which I stress again, am not. It's really starting to make me lose the will to live, as Ableton was expensive and being stuck not being able (pun unintended) to download it is starting to really grind my gears. The way I see it, I have two options. 1. Try and replicate my OS files onto my new SSD, if I can? Is it possible to turn another drive into the OS one? 2. Install OS onto new empty SSD, then wipe the old one. Is this possible now I've already formatted it into the PC? What should I do?
  7. I like the idea of having all of my storage on one device (as my HDD is pretty old now and sluggish), and less stress when it comes to portability, moving house etc. Plus, I'm saving to buy a Digital Audio Workstation so I'm going to need that extra wiggle room. In terms of partitions, does it not automatically adjust to its new environment? Adding my current 115GB on the SSD to the other 533gb on the HDD. Also do you have any recommendations for cloning software? -sorry for all the q's
  8. So I'm basically thinking of upgrading my current storage system: 1TB HDD Holding all of my valuables such as family photos. Games, Work etc. etc. 120GB SSD Contains my OS and other such files... Changing them to a completely new SSD. Faster, with more storage... But I was wondering if this is even possible... Can I just migrate my system just as simple as that? Does it come with any risks? Have any of you done this type of thing before? Any input would be greatly appreciated
  9. Thanks bro, any recommendations?
  10. Hi, I’m thinking of investing in some good quality bookshelf speakers (Klipsch), but I was wondering what the best way to have all my stuff hooked up at the same time ? I.E. My Tv for movies, PC for gaming, synthesiser for music - etc. Is there some some kind of device that I’ll need to buy? Amplifier maybe? I’m not sure - but I know that if I do invest, I don’t want to be constantly plugging in/out wires for the sake of audio usage. Let me know now if you faced the same problem or know the solution. Thanks 4 helping a noob
  11. Hi, I'm thinking of buying this portable hard drive: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07997KKSK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1_1_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 but I was wondering whether I would be able to use it for a load of different things i.e. with my Xbox one, mac and pc. Or can it only stay tied to one device once it has been formatted?

    BOSE QC35 GAMING??

Hi, I've recently just bought some Bose QC35's, does anyone know how I could get them to work with my Xbox one and pc (with microphone) for gaming? I've heard you can buy a wire that will sort these issues out...
  13. I've actually got the QC35's - do you know how I can get them working with my Xbox?
  14. Hi, I really want to get a good pair of wireless gaming/productivity headphones that I can pair with both my PC and XBOX - I'm not a professional gamer or anything so I don't want to be spending ridiculous amounts of money - but I also don't mind spending a decent sum in order to get something that will suit my needs. Does anyone have any good/ comfy suggestions?
