Get a 144hz display the difference is like day and night.. You wont regret it!
-
Looking for the right cpu.
joshuawi99 replied to SGTechGamer's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
The 2400g is decent on non demanding titles at 1080p but i would defenetly pick a discrete GPU for Apex, PUBG etc.. Something like a used 1060.... -
Is the H100i enough for the 9700k?
joshuawi99 replied to pineSolo's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
More than enough.... -
I hope the Navi gen will support crossfire again meh .
-
Damn thats sad. 4k 144hz on amd good bye i think . And why exactly does amd not support it this generaton?
-
Hello Guys just for the LOL´s is it possible to actually crossfire two Vega 7´s?? Haven´t seen anything on youtube or google yet . Have a nice day!
-
You will defently see a performance bump with upgrading to ryzen or an Intel i5. Just search for a good deal. The 390X ist still capable of playing games at 1080p no problem if you do not crank your settings too much.
-
Hmm yeah that seems to be problematic. All NVMe Raid Cards are pretty expensive
-
Okay and why excactly i cannot do any Hardware RAID with the onboard controller?
-
Hey guys, so my plan is to get the ASRock Ultra Quad M.2 NVMe SSD expansion card with four 970 evo 512gb SSD´s. I read some articles about it and i only saw threadripper / x299 Boards being used in those builds. Do you think this is possible with an X99 Rampage V Edition 10 in RAID? Thanks and greetings

First off I suggest you to watch the watercooling guide videos from JaysTwoCents. He really explains all the needs and myths about this whole topic. Generally buy from a well known brand that is available in your region. Me myself i always buy from EK Waterblocks. They have a very user friendly website and exeptionally good support. I never had a problem with them and they will treat you nice. I would advise you to make a list with all the watercooling components you choose and then you can post them in this thread. So we can have a look. Isn´t 1.375V a little high for a first gen threadripper? You will at least need a 360 rad to make it reasonable quiet without a GPU.

EKWB RGB Block Strix RGB Header
joshuawi99 replied to joshuawi99's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Hmm it would be interesting what Asus headquarters say about this problem. Are we the first users that ask this question? It would be nice if you keep me updated on that ticket ;). -
EKWB RGB Block Strix RGB Header

Thanks for your answer still xD. But what is the point of those headers?? I got around this shit by switching to an Asus Mobo finally :).
