  1. Hey there, Wannabe JayzTwoCents here, back at it with another Personal Rig update. After getting into some of the more heavy processes such as rendering, I figured "Hey, this i7 is great and all, but what if it WASN'T and i7 with Haswell-e Architecture eh? So after grabbing another PHAT 360mm Radiator, a case to squeeze it all in, and another healthy dose of my (Questionably terrible) Hand Bent Tubing runs: I give you CROSSFADE Version 2.0 Specs: CPU: Ryzen THREADRIPPER 1920x 12c/24t OC'd to 4.1GHz with a Phanteks Glacier TR4 Waterblock. {RGB cabling came messed up so no built in lights. ) MOBO: AsRock X399 Taichi RAM: Avexir Core 32GB 4x8GB @2666MHz GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Armour OC'd to 2.1GHz with a fancy Shmancy EKWB Cooling block {TF9 Acryllic Specifically, I think} Storage: 2x2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM HDD's in RAID 1, + 1x240GB Corsair Force LE SSD for a boot drive. PSU: Corsair RM850 (Proudly serving me since its launch date) Case: Fractal Define R6, Blackout Edition Cooling: 2x360MM EKWB Full Copper Radiators Primochill PETG 1/2 inch Tubing D5 Vario Pump with Alphacool Eisedecke Acryllic pump top EKWB Reservior Primochill Revolver SX Silver Fittings 6x Corsair SP120 RGB Fans And about 1.5 Liters of EKWB Cryofuel in acid green. (Also, for those of you wondering why the GPU isn't in the top slot, the back-plate actually conflicts with the plastic IO shroud on the motherboard, and I wasn't gonna bother with shaving either down with the loop allready half built)
  2. Its been a while since I've even been on the forums, but that's because I've ben busy. Completely redid my personal rig and even added some personal watercooling. SPECS: CPU: Core i7 6850K @ 4.2GHz MOBO: ASrock X99 Taichi RAM: Avexir Core 32GB (4X8GB) GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Armour put under a water block PSU: Corsair RM850 80+Gold STORAGE: 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD's, 2x 240GB Corsair FORCE LE SATA SSD's Case: Corsair Air 540 ATX COOLING: 6x Corsair SP120 RGB fans 1x EK DBAY RES MX+D5 Pump/res Combo 1x EKWB 240MM PE Radiator 1x EKWB 360MM PE Radiator 1x Supremacy MX CPU block 1x EKWB GTX TF6 GPU block 10x Primochill Revolver silver HDC fittings Primochill 1/2' tubing Primochill Blue UV reactive coolant 2x Bitspower fillports used to convert some hard tubing to soft tubing to fit in the back 6x EKWB Soft compression fittings leftover from the original rig for the fill tube and the conversion bits. 1 Cablemod RGB LED strip and 1 Cablemod UV strip And a little intel guy from the 1990's I'm pretty sure the only thing origingally from the first build is the 240MM radiator, some of the soft tubing in the back of the case and the RGB strip, everything else brand new.
  3. Got a bit of an upgrade recently, went from full on Red team to Blue and green. Got a new case because I was too lazy to be bothered with cable management, along with a shmexy x99 taichi and 6850k. Along with 32GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, a custom EK loop for the CPU, a Strix 1060 all powered by a 750 watt power supply. ...but I skipped storage day, only max of 1TB on the HDD
  4. Fractal Design Define S I believe. Will have pics once I de-dust it again.
  5. New phone camera, new gpu, new update. Got myself a new STRIX 1060 card and oh my goodness it's beautiful.
  6. Well damn, that's a mighty fine case. Now I know what to look for when doing another watercooling build.
  7. Wait wait wait... are you planning on stuffing all of those radiators in that small case? Will it even fit?
  8. "So stay tuned for the finale of SCRAPYARD WARS!" "..Next week for Vessel subscribers." #crievrytime #makeitstoplinus #alreadybroke
  9. The build was sponsored by the school I was in at the time as a showpiece for the class. They paid for every part except for the Processor, RAM, the SSD and the HDD in the back. I could have taken some of those parts back, but I wanted to leave something behind for new students to tinker around with.
  10. Have you tried using afterburner to set up a custom curve? That can normally resolve any thermal issues encountered.
  11. Nice! I'll keep my eye out then, tons of collectors out here.
  12. I've always wanted one just to see if I can add servos and make a walking pc just for the heck of it. Where did you find it?
