  1. @Adsome2007 In Poland so where I'm from 2080 super will be $250 more expensive
  2. Hi, I've finally decided to buy my first PC after 3 years but have a hard time finishing it. 1. Aim: So I already run on 1440p monitor and PC will be mostly for gaming at that resolution and building projects in Android Studio so I'd like to keep that 3700x. Hardest part for me is to pick a decent Mobo, I've read that x470 can handle Ryzens 3000. What about OC of RAM? Is 3733MHz achievable on that set? Is that Asus board good enough to handle any OC of Ryzen? I'd love to get some help from you guys :) My current build plan is like this: 1. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X $390 2. GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC WHITE 8GB GDDR6 $633 3. MOBO: ASUS PRIME X470-PRO $164 4. Ram: Patriot 16GB 3733MHz Viper 4 CL17 (2x8GB) $108 5. PSU: SilentiumPC 650W Supremo FM2 Gold $95 6. SSD: Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus M.2 2280 NVMe $142 7. HDD: WD 1TB 7200obr. 64MB BLUE $50 Total: $1582 So I have a little room for improvements.
  3. Hi, I'm trying to build a PC for my friend (first ever pc after 10 years) only for games. Max budget I came up with is $995. Here is what I came up with so far: MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING $153.31 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.2GHz, 16MB (YD1600BBAEBOX) $250.85 GPU: GTX 970 (from second hand) RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4, 2x4GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (F4-3200C16D-8GVKB) $164.50 PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 10 600W (BN278) $100.75 HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 3.5'', 1TB, SATA/600, 7200RPM, 64MB cache (WD10EZEX) $56 GTX 1060 6GB got up in price like $80 so it exceeds my budget. Is there an cheaper mobo good enough to run that ryzen? Any other advices in terms of that build?
  4. Any case in similar money? Cause I definately don't need these fancy looking cases since I don't care about aesthetics at all. I'm looking for longevity of this build, like with my old 2500k that I used for almost 6 years.
  5. Hmm, in terms of SSD my buddy will sell me Samsung 850 Evo 250GB cheaply so I don't really need to count it in this budget. I'm gonna push the limit a bit and get Asus ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING board. So once for all, is this PSU enough for this build or could you recommend me other one at really similar price?
  6. 8GB for now, in future I plan add another 8GB. Okay so now I added board you recommended but PSU you recommended is making me go out of budget. What is wrong with PSU I have in my build?
  7. Hi all, It's my first build since like forever, I came up with this build which is exactly same as the price in the title. Any suggestions that I should change something or is it good as it is? Is PSU enough for slight overclock of that Ryzen? Also my friend is gonna sell me his almost not used Samsung 850 Evo 250GB for $90. HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 3.5\'\', 1TB, SATA/600, 7200RPM, 64MB cache (WD10EZEX) - $54.16 PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 10 600W (BN278) Silver 80 Plus - $97.3 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB GDDR5 (192 Bit) 2xDVI-D, HDMI, DP, BOX (GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD) - $381.67 Case: Zalman Z3 - $40.98 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.2GHz, 16MB (YD1600BBAEBOX) - $247.87 MOBO: MSI B350 TOMAHAWK, AM4, DDR4, 2xPCI, SATA3 ,8xUSB 3.1 ATX - $108.49 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4, 2x4GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (F4-3200C16D-8GVKB) - $129.11
  8. Hi everyone, I'm completely new when it comes to audio systems(only read threads at the top). I want to upgrade my audio system and get new headphones. My motherboard is an old Asus P8z68-v lx board. My budget is around 200€. So what I should go for? Invest all of the money only in headphones or buy headphones + dac/amp?. I will mostly use it to listen to music(sometimes for games aswell but not on pro level so it's not something that important).
  9. Thanks for the help everyone, auction ends in 10 days. I will try to get it(then clean it and reapply new thermal paste). If this works I will get you all a beer to celebrate this kind of bargain
  10. The problem is I don't have that card yet. So there is a chance that card is perfectly fine and its worth the risk?
  11. Hi everyone, I see someone selling on auction gtx 690(now it is at 20$). I've been told there is a one problem with this card ( It is posting and you can install drivers(even test it in Furmarku and Heaven Benchmark like in photos). Eventually after specified amount of time(long or short its random) whole screen goes black and GPU fans quickly jump to 100% speed. When you restart PC everything is starting to work again). There is a way to determine what is causing the problem with this GPU? How much I would need to pay for repair?
