Reducing it? Underclocking/undervolting/power limiting is probably a good start. I would try to return it though.

You calibrate monitor based on photo you found on internet? Seriously? You will not get accurate color based on photo taken by anyone.
Even the environmental condition will change how the street view.

Agree with Levent, new drives (or PC's, which have new drives) will have abnormal usage at the beginning due to updates and such. Check it after a bit and it should settle down.

OP is asking if they should be worried about total host writes when just got the SSD 3 days ago [op edited their post to include google translated version later on]. My answer is no, monitor your usage for longer. Installing apps, windows and all the updates kind of take whole lot of writes.

I used the WD Black series for a long time for my Game Library drives until I needed more storage space, then I started migrating over to the WD Gold line. Both my son and I's machine use WD Gold drives now for our data and Steam Library drives. My Steam Library now sits on a 22 TB WD Gold, my son is using a 14 TB WD Gold in his.
Personal opinion*, as soon as you said "reliable", Seagate gets tossed out.

I quite like the new font actually. The softer look is nice and it is less cramped. For me it reads fine on either my 3840x2160 or 1920x1200 screens.

Agree. Especially if it was only a splash. Even if you fully submerged it in the iso alcohol, it would be fine as long as you let it evaporate before turning it back on.
