Correct. I'm not sure if it needs a restart for the variables to get refreshed but you could do that just incase.

Can you try adding the TEMP and TMP system variables if you dont have them?

Hmm, you seem to be missing the temp variables? Try running "temp" from the run dialog (win+r)

Please go into advanced settings and provide a screenshot of what you have in the system variables list (Win+R, type SystemPropertiesAdvanced in the run box then on the System Properties window the bottom button "Environment Variables")

I remember replacing a fan on an old psu, was a standard 80mm fan which just needed to be soldered to the board. My first ever fix with soldering!

My first PC from 2007 has had all components swapped but the psu it came with. It still works. Don't underestimate psu's lifespan.

Given the amount written and the timeframe of your drive being on your system and with no partition theres very little chance this has happened overtime. In a day or two if the amount does not move you should have your answer.
