Long anwser. You need an K sku CPU and an Z series motherboard

It would be helpful to know, what exactly your budget is. But right off the bat, I can tell you that the best thing you can do is getting an SSD. A 120GB (or Go since I suspect you're French) would be enough. Just keep your HDD but install Windows and all your programs onto the SSD. Your system will feel A LOT snappier and you can see from there if you feel the need to upgrade any other hardware.

Shouldn't be a problem since you're just telling Windows to shut down when you're pressing the power button (as long as you're not holding it down). Thereby all applications can be closed gracefully and you shouldn't run into any issues.

I don't know that specific model but generally speaking, TP-Link makes quite good networking equipment so you should be alright there.

That might actually be an issue. Don't make it more than finger tight. If you have to put real effort into turning the screws, you might be overdoing it. Too firm mounting pressure can result in the system not posting (and if you're unlucky can cause permanent damage to your chip)

Depends on what you find reasonably priced but I do quite like cablemod. They have both full cable sets and extensions and if you want you can customise the colours on the individual wires (that can get quite expensive though).

To answer you question directly: NO you don't NEED to upgrade. I run a 6600k and recently got the chance to upgrade from a 1070 to a 1080 and I'm REALLY happy with it. However, I do notice some CPU bottlenecking when playing CPU intensive games like Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which doesn't mean that I have an unpleasant gaming experience, I just do notice it. Basically it boils down to: You don't have to upgrade but you would definitely benefit from upgrading to an i7 or Ryzen 7 CPU.

The GPU has more impact on the frame rate at higher resolutions. Bottlenecking is basically like two runners (CPU and GPU) who are tied together with a rope. At lower resolutions, both runners can run freely but the CPU is slower than the GPU so the GPU gets held back (bottlenecked). Increasing the resolution basically changes the surface the GPU runs on. The higher the resolution, the harder the GPU needs to work to go forward (CPU still runs on normal ground) resulting in effectively the CPU being bottlenecked by the GPU (THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT).
I hope this makes understanding bottlenecking a bit easier.

This is NOT what I was trying to say! A 6600(k) is basically equivalent to a 4690k and I would not recommend upgrading to it! If you want to upgrade your CPU, get a 7700k or maybe check out Ryzen 7.

I would say not quite. I own a Maximus VIII Ranger (so the same sound engine as the Z170A, if I'm not terribly mistaken) and a Game Zero and I'm rather satisfied with it. I am however not as blown away by the overall sound, as I expected to be. I think it sounds just a little bit more tinny, when compared to my beyer-dynamic dt 901 (which I have connected to a headphone amp). This is only noticeable however, when going from my other headphones directly to the headset.
In short: I think the Game Zero would definitely benefit from a discrete amp but it's still a great headset (especially in terms of comfort) when driven off the motherboard.
