  1. ofc i know that the cpu does not effect the resulution... i was just giving some backround information.... i'd go with a RADEON RX 470 as graficscard... but was wondering about what CPU i should get
  2. He wants to spend about 500-600 € which is in my opinion pretty low BUT that is what he wants to spend... Maybe go for an older CPU? But I dont know which ones can handle 1080p gaming.
  3. Hi there, a few month a go I've build my own system with your help and I am super happy. Now a firend of mine wants to build a system for his son and asked me to help him... He doesn't want to spend too much money. The son wants to play ARK and some other games, but he doesnt need anything more then 1080p. And I guess not even "ultra settings". My question is: Which CPU should I go for? In my Rig I have a i5 6600K but if he doesn't wants to spend too much money, maybe I should go for an AMD CPU or a cheaper INTEL? Thanks for the help.
  4. I checked the thermals and my CPU and Hardware usage and everything seemed normal. Nothing outstanding. The problem solved itself after a few days and i have no idea what happend. I checked if windows was doing updates or anything, but couldnt find the reason for the lags. Thanks for the help guys
  5. i thought about thermal throtting... how do i check that? i have a second monitor ... is there any good overview about everything, so i can try to find the bottleneck?
  6. its wired, i have a ping from 15- 60 and a download of about 11mb/s ... + the games dont show the "connection instable" logo

  9. I appreciate all the answers, but they dont really help with my Problem. ^^ Does anyone know if 8ms is unplayable for shooters?
  10. What if I can not borrow one?
  11. Hi, I am thinking about getting a second Monitor for my new Computer. I used a Laptop with a Monitor before I have build my own Desktop PC and now I am missing out on my 2nd screen. I don't want to spend a whole lot on a new Monitor but still want a decent "gaming" experience. I dont need 4k or anything. Since I am working as a student in a big company I could get discounts at HP or Fujitsu. The Monitors there have a Respons Time of around 5-8ms and I am wondering if that is "too slow" for gaming (League of Legends, CS:GO, The Devision). I currently have an AOC Monitor with 2ms and am asking myself if I will notice a difference between those or if layman like me would never notice and therefore it doesn't matter. Thanks for any Help.
  12. Okay, since I am not new to PC's this is everything that i already have. I thought maybe there are some hidden tricks on how to Optimize anything. Thanks for the help. Is there a way to prioritise my PC in my Wirless Connection? Im experiencing lags when a new device "comes home" and enters the Router.
  13. Is the Database Spreadsheet down or is it just for me at Work?
  14. Hi guys, I recently build my first Computer with the help of you. It turned out pretty nice, although my Graphicscard is a little bit too loud, but that is not for this topic. My question is: How do I SetUp windows 10 properly? How do I optimize it for Gaming, what Programms should I be running and is there a Special way how to configurate my ssd and my hdd? My SSD is my boot device, but do I need to do anything else to it? Thanks for the help. And Hi from Germany
  15. Hi Guys i need some help with this! Sooo I just build my first Computer a few days ago and everything is super fine! I managed the overclock with the help of this forum and i am super happy with how everything turned out! The only thing that bugs me is how loud my GPU fan is on idle. I have an "ASUS Turbo GTX970 4GB OC" and I just cant manage to get it to 0%. It runs at 28% the whole time. I followed the tutorial and flashed the new settings on it but it didnt change. I can set the Fanspeed in "MSI Afterburn" to 0% but the Card just keeps running . So I thought that I failed with something and tryed to do it again. After saving the GPU bios to edit it, I saw that it has the 0% settings just like in the video which means, that the settings should be on the card, right ? How can I make my new PC perfect and finish that tutorial? Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
