  1. The problem with that is the fact that a 7970 GHZ would only cost about 30€ less than a 770 4gb. I believe that with the new consoles having up to 8gb of VRAM, games in the future will be using more VRAM.
  2. I am currently running a i5 760 @3.7 ghz and a 560ti and a 2560x1440 monitor. The 1gb VRAM of the 560ti simply isn't enough to play modern games at a 2560x1440 resolution. I was thinking about upgrading to a gtx 770 4gb, but i am concerned whether the i5 760 would bottleneck the gpu. would a cpu upgrade to possibly a i5 4670k be necessary to get everything out of the gtx 770?
  3. Where did you find one? I've been looking and couldn't find any 4GB models.
  4. Doesn't the 770 have 2GB of VRAM also?
  5. I am in the market for a new graphics card for gaming use on my 2560x1440 monitor. I would be upgrading from my 560ti as the 1GB vram simpy isnt enough for high res gaming. I have narrowed down my options to 4 cards: 7950, 7970, gtx 770 and the 760. Reviews and benchmarks i have found of these cards are extremely varying so i would like to if any of you had any personal experience with gaming at 2560x1440 with any of these cars. I am looking for about and average of 50 fps maxed out. Which one would you recommend?
  6. I'm looking for new In-Ear earphones for under 100 euros. They will be mostly used while walking, so not for stationary use. This means the cable must be light and the earpieces fit well, but that of course depends on the individual ears you have. Will be mostly using them at work so noise isolation would be preferred.
  7. Would it be worth getting a 7950 3GB instead of the 7870 2GB if my 560 ti isn't sufficient?
  8. I've personally owned both mice and i think the ikari optical is better (more comfortable) for palm grip, especially if you have large hands.
  9. I am getting a 2560x1440 monitor and was wondering how my 560ti will perform in games such as starcraft 2 and xcom at that resolution. My main concern is having only 1GB of VRAM. Would a upgrade to a 7870 be sufficient to play most games at high details without AA at a 2560x1440 resolution, or would i have to upgrade to something better?
  10. I have the lenovo yoga 13 and think it is very good for what you are looking for.
  11. I currently have a lenovo yoga 13 for school and i love it. I mostly use it for school work, taking notes and web browsing, but it does all of these very well. The IPS screen is gorgeous and the touch screen is very good, but has a tendency of getting fingerprints. The overall construction is very good and it feels like a premium notebook. The battery life lasts ~6-7 hours with web browsing, watching videos etc. One criticism i might have is that the ssd is badly partitioned. You only get ~90 gb of storage with a 128 gb ssd, but you can add a memory card to expand storage. Overall i recommend the lenovo yoga 13 for everything else but hardcore gaming.
  12. Thank you so much, this helped a lot! :D
  13. I'm looking to buy a 1440p good quality monitor for ~600 euros (800) USD. I am stuck between choosing the dell u2713hm or the asus pb278q. They cost the same amount where i'm buying from and i have heard that the Dell has better color reproduction but higher input lag which is a problem as i play games occasionally. Is the input lag difference noticable or is the better color reproduction worth it. TL;DR: im in the market for a new 1440p monitor, the Dell u2713hm or the Asus PB278q. which one should i get if they cost the same.
