Yeah, that's what was worrying me. I guess I'll do the whole process tomorrow, and try not to fail.

Okay, this was not really what I was expecting, I was expecting a way of just using the 2 drives and the computer. But as this answer is persistent, I guess it's the closest I can get to what I want. Anyway, Thanks! that resolves my question, I'm gonna make another attempt on creating a bootable USB stick, I guess the way you describe, I can make all the process in my PC without having to switch peripherals, and at a faster pace.

Hi, I'm gonna try to make it short. I have my uncle's Windows XP PC, he wants me to do something because he lost access to all his files caused by a windows error. I connected the drive to my main PC via SATA and just started copying all his computer files onto a folder in mine's. Now, Win XP doesn't work anymore, and I found in many other cases that this setup is able to run Windows 10 perfectly. So I want to install it on his PC. I did this many times: I can't find a DVD to write the files, I try to make a bootable USB, process that fails for me everytime, and I end up buying a DVD, but, 1 week later (Piracy is bad btw). It's a little messy. So what I want to ask is: Is there a way to install an SO (Windows 10 in this case) into a disk that is connected to a working computer? all without having to burn a dvd, format a USB Stick, etcetera. (Oh and if possible, without losing everything in my main PC C: ) Thanks.

I just wanted to know what the LTT forum thinks is the best of all Cherry MX switch, you can vote whatever you want, if you've tried all of them; if you've only tried one or two; or if you only have references of them, but try to mind your choice.

Did it work? if that worked, please mark that guy's answer as "Solved", so people can know the answer quickly. If not, just ignore what i just said.

Steam FAILED TO START GAME (UNKNOWN ERROR)

Mate, if your Windows copy is original, just update it to windows 10 right away, it's free! -
Do you have an external surge protector? could be your house's electricity, did you noticed lights dimming or something? it could be that, or the power supply dying, it's very strange since your PSU is not a "Generic" one, it's an 80 plus gold one. Remember that those PSUs generally have 5-10 years warranty, so, i'd try contacting evga support and see if they can fix/replace it.

Hi everybody, I don't know if this is the correct sub, but it seems like the most indicated one. I found a pretty old laptop in my attic (an HP Pavilion ze4800) it's known as the first laptop our family bought. The thing is I found it with it's charger, and it works, the lighting light turns on on the laptop and it charges when it is off, but whenever i press the power button, the light turns off and it stops charging, i can't found any way of making it charge when on (in addition to that, the battery is worn out, lasts 10 - 15 minutes at 50%). Note here: The charger has an input from "100 - 240 V" but it's UK plug, the only thing i can connect it to is a 110V Transformer, and the plugs here are 220V, so it can run at more power, but i need to buy an adapter, I suspect that this is not the problem but, could it be? Or is it that old laptops can't charge when ON? Thanks in advance!

Okay, if more people state that, i guess i will get a new card, so i don't have to go through all of this to get a better performance...

Hey guys, so, my video card is a Radeon HD 6670 1gb GDDR5, really crappy card, but it holds really well (at least for me, and my budget). As every human being, i obviously want more, so as my processor is an A6-3670, with an integrated HD 6530D, some time ago i thought about some Dual Graphics. After A LOT of tests... it failed. In most benchmarks they just crash before launching with the typical windows crash window. But in the case of Heaven Benchmark, it freezes after a while into the benchmark. The thing that most annoys me is that while with no dual graphics, and with a little of OC, the avg FPS after like 1500 frames is 25 FPS, with dual graphics and no OC, it's like 30, so it's actually improving and therefore... working... but just for a while. I want to note here that i made A BUTTWHACKTON of tests, and that the freeze/crash problem is only present with Dx11, probably because Dual-Graphics doesn't activate with Dx9 or OpenGL. TL;DR: Tried DualGraphics but everything crashes except for Heaven Benchmark... cause that freezes. The little time i could make into heaven bench i noticed it improved. Any Help or even advice you can give me? or this cards are just not compatible? Thanks in advance!

i called mine "Performancita" (basically, the spanish female diminutive of "Performance", so in english it would be... "Performancee"?) just because the case it has has the word "Performance" in the front.
