Thank you! Using the Microsoft Update Assistant did the trick!
-
Hi everyone! It would be great if anyone could help me out a little bit. I currently use a surface laptop 2 with windows 10 version 1909. It's weird that I am no longer getting updates. On the Windows update page in settings it says that my device is missing important security and quality fixes, but if I search for updates nothing comes up. Moreover still says feature update to windows version 2004(May 20) is on its way and I will see this update soon. It's funny considering its October 21 and its been more than a year. I would appreciate if someone can help me figure out what is going on.

List of Mechanical keyboards on Bangood, Aliexpress etc.
sohamb98 replied to sohamb98's topic in Peripherals
Here is one that I can post https://www.amazon.in/TVS-Bharat-Gold-Wired-Keyboard/dp/B00A17MNHU It cost around $28, and uses genuine cherry mx blue switches. Doesn't look good, looks like those keyboards back from the 2000's and doesn't the bells and whistles like programmable multimedia keys and back-light. you can however replace the key-caps to make look a bit modern. But the catch line is you are getting genuine cherry mx blues at this price. -
Can you post links to Mechanical keyboards (preferably under $50) which you have bought from online sites like Aliexpress, Banggood, GearBest, etc and your review.

@dany_boy oh, I see he needs it for a drone.

I would advise you to use a a HC-05 Bluetooth module to connect to your wirelessly. I would advise you the HC-05 than RF transmitter/receiver because it is really really easy to use. Plus you are using Bluetooth(You can connect to your laptop tablet or smartphone). Here is the data sheet http://cdn.makezine.com/uploads/2014/03/hc_hc-05-user-instructions-bluetooth.pdf Soham Bhattacharya operatingsystems.co.in

So here is the problem, I am running Windows 8.1 on my computer. After logging in it will BSOD on me with a different reason each time. After restarting a few times I get the message that windows could not load because of a file windows.efi missing. Then it advises me to use my installation media to recover windows. I insert my installation media and boot from it. Unfortunately each time I do it, it gets stuck on the loading screen with the windows logo. Then i restart the computer(without the installation media) and it directly boots to startup repair. I start system restore and initiate it. After initiation it shows the BSOD on initialization. Help me please. I need to get this system back into working order.

Ya. I don't think there Will be much of a performance difference on upgrading the ram. I think you are right. I will buy the new one. Has a 930m and an 5th gen i3. -
In a few months I will be majoring in computer engineering. Anyway I have an Asus laptop(Asus X551MA-SX101D) with the following specs: Intel Pentium N3520 quad core at 2.16Ghz and has turbo boost technology. It has around 2gb ddr3 ram(up gradable up to 4gb). Integrated graphics Will it be worth to upgrade the ram to 4gb? Will be usable as my primary computer in college(I think it wont) after the ram upgrade? Currently in cant support visual studio and is laggy? Will it be able to run at least CS GO on low settings at 30-40fps? Should I rather sell it for around USD200 and buy this laptop instead(http://www.amazon.in/Asus-A555LF-XX263D-15-6-inch-i3-5010U-Graphics/dp/B01B5UR2AE) and upgrade the ram to 8gb?
