[Win] App to scan multiple documents at once
Nandos replied to Nandos's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Ahhemmm... maybe I opened this thread too quickly. Do you guys confirm that this one do what I intend? https://www.naps2.com/ Because they say: Installing right now. -
Hello there guys. I'm looking for an app for win 10 able to take multiple scans of several document's pages at once, without saving the pages scanned one by one. What I mean is, for example, I say to the app "i need to take 10 scans, at the end save the results" and that's it. Even if it can't merge the scans in pdf at the end, for example, at least that it could save the results one by one (like in jpg or single page pdfs) at once at the end, then I will use another app to merge. Is there anything like this? Thanks in advance

[Question] Migrate OS from SSD to NVME with Bitlocker activated on source
Nandos replied to Nandos's topic in Storage Devices
Really, I'd really like to migrate without re-installing everything. The migration will save me a lot of time, to be honest. -
Hello there guys. I've this question for you, any help will be appreciated. Basically, I want to migrate my os, windows 10 pro x64, installed on my primary ssd (samsung 850 evo 250GB) into my new nvme ssd (samsung 970 evo 250gb) I just bought for an upgrade. The problem is that on the source disk, the 850 evo, I have bitlocker activated with boot pin (no tpm module), and I also have a secondary 2tb 7200rpm hdd encrypted with bitlocker set with automatic unlock. Can I normally migrate os like I do, for example, with my copy of acronis true image, with bitlocker turned on, or I need to turn it off on my primary ssd and then migrate? If I need to turn off bitlocker on os' ssd and migrate normally, what would happen to my secondary encrypted hdd? It will still be encrypted and unlocked on login, like now, or I need to set it up differently with a pin before doing that? I'm asking this because I set no pin on the secondary hdd, and I only have its recovery key, also it's quite huge and could take literally half day to decrypt (the encrypt process on this one took like 10 hours, so I'd prefer to not decrypt it ?). This could appear like a stupid question, because the 2 encrypted disks are just encrypted and that's it, one doesn't influence the other one, but since I set the pin boot with the boot ssd (850 evo) and the secondary on automatic unlock, I think they might be connected somehow (and I might be wrong on this). Let me know guys, because this is a new one for me, I never had the chance to migrate an encrypted system and I want to learn how to do the correct way ? ps: move into the right subforum if this isn't the right one, sorry in advance

Question about 2nd m.2 slot speed on ASUS PRIME X470-PRO
Nandos replied to Nandos's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Eh, that's why i'm asking, just to be sure to don't buy a nvme that will be bottlenecked from the slot. If someone know for sure what's the exact bandwidth of the 2nd m.2 slot, will be perfect- 3 replies

Hello there. Like the title, do you know what speed to expect from the 2nd m.2 slot on the ASUS PRIME X470-PRO? The manual says this https://i.imgur.com/AtkpCcK.jpg, but I don't know if the 2nd slot is a x2 mode of a Gen2 (10gbps) or Gen3 (16gbps) pcie. Since I'd like to put a 2nd high performance nvme in the 2nd slot, I'd like, at least, to know which speed to expect, so I can choose better what to buy. Thanks in advance guys

Hello there guys. I'm looking for a little UPS with few inputs (let's say, max 4 power inputs or so) and input/output ports for RJ11/VDSL2 with surge protection function. My goal is to have this kind of UPS so I can continue to use internet and, at least, the phone, while electricity goes off for whatever reason. I need this because, recently, I got an upgrade to my internet subscription and now I have an fttc vdsl2 line. With this kind of line, the phone works in VoIP linked directly to the Router, but since I have a cordless phone with a radio-base, I need to power that too. I took a look at this kind of UPS https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0009HMYKS but it looks too big for my requirements (I only need to power/protect the Router and the Cordless at the end) and I don't know if those rj11 input/output ports have surge protection. Also, do you recommend to use an all-in-one ups with these features? If so, what would you guys recommend me to buy? In case it's better to have a little ups for the power and an rj11 surge protector filter separately, what would you recommend me to buy? Thanks in advance guys, cya o/ edit: if the section is wrong, move the thread guys

Like the title, I'm looking for an encryption module, like the TPM ones, to use it together with BitLocker's Windows 10 function, and I have that motherboard. I see it has the TPM slot and in the manual is stated the motherboard supports AsRock's TPMS1 modules. My question is, since I'd like to use the most recent tpm module possible for my motherboard, does it also support the new TPM2-S V 2.0 I see in this AsRock page? Let me know guys, thanks in advance ?

Like the title, I'm going to buy a mouse and a keyboard with rgb, my budget is around 200€ (a little more is ok if the combo reach that values, like 230/240€). My only requirements are programmable rgb also for single keys and a mechanical type for the keyboard, programmable buttons and selectable DPI for the mouse. I play a lot of game's genres, from FPS to MMO, so a generic combo would be perfect. Thanks in advance ?

Is there a way to make it more bland?
-
Also, if you notice, on the right monitor, there is a sort of a very light left side burn-in going on. Is there a way to fix that?
-
So, you're telling me, even switching monitors, he could have a similar behavior? Is there no way to better calibrate them? Because, let me explain another weird behavior he has: if he moves the HUE color options on the nVidia control panel for the 2nd monitor, the right one, just a bit over 0 and then move it back to 0, the colors matches, and they stay almost the same until he restarts the PC. If there is a way to automatically do that... it could work?!?
