Hi everyone! I am looking or a 144Hz monitor, but an IPS one since I'd be using it for gaming and photo editing. For photo editing I think that the IPS is the best, since it has true colors, right? But I dont know of any good IPS 144Hz monitor so I need your help. I was looking for the Benq's monitors but I really dont know their capabilities in terms of true color production for the photo editing... please correct me if I am wrong! :DD The price range is from 200-350 euros. So, I was searching through internet and I found out that the burned pin carries 5 volts to the hdd. I've changed the sata power connector and the hdd works pretty fine as before, so I think that there will not be any problem with the hdd because there are two more pins that carry 5 volts to the disk. I hope this will help to someone. Here are the pinouts.

Hello guys. Yesterday I was on my computer and I felt bad smell of burned plastic and it was coming out from my pc. I turn it off immediately and I have checked the cables and the hdd sata power cable was a melted and the pins were into the melted plastic. Then I checked my hdd and I saw that one of the pins of my hdd was blackened. I tried to clean that but unsuccessful. I took another sata power cable and plugged in the hdd, plugged in the sata data cable and turned on my computer. It was working fine and today appeared blue screen of death I think because of that blackened or broken pin. Can I somehow fix this ? Or can I buy new connectors for my drive ? I am unable to buy another hdd and I dont want to lose all of my data in there. Thank u in advance, I hope u can understand me.

My friends suggested me the Dell monitor too, but I wanted to ask more experienced persons. Haha And thank you for suggestion. ;)
