  1. I just need something I can submit to my shirt guy and get some shirts made. Then maybe a couple stickers for kids. Since they're always at dealers and see the truck and like it.

My old graphic was a line version of a 11 car carrier truck. I've downsized and got a Ram 5500 and a 5 Car trailer.

If I give you the side view of each, would you be able to just do an exterior line of them both?

I guess just flip that bottom image so the truck is to the left.. Then just line art the thing and thats fine with me.

You don't need to get high detail in the cars/trucks. Just the general outline is fine. Thanks

EDIT - black is fine. Just a basic outline of the truck and trailer.

  2. Been looking for a new graphic for my company.. It doesn't need to be super flashy. I mean, the old one has lasted 20 years.

I haul cars. Just been looking for something that works on a Tshirt and to give to little kids who think my truck is cool.

  3. I believe I've heard about this before. It was just a rumor then, but I've heard of the 10 series Titan having 24gb.

    It makes since, the 9 series cards had 70 - 4 80 - 4  80ti - 6  Titan - 12.

The 70 and 80's have a third vram as the Titan, The Ti had half of the titan. So the amount of Vram makes sense. Although what happened when the 1070 and 80 came out. It was hard to believe the specs. It would be possible that's it's legit or just slightly over what the specs are going to be.

  4. The 1080 is more of an in between card from what I've got. It does 1440 well enough, but doesn't do 4k that well to be called a good 4k card, IMO.

I have a feeling the 1080Ti will be the 4K card. It'll handle 4k well.  The 1080 is a better 1440p 144hz card then it does 4k. I'd venture to say 1080 SLI is probably what's going to hold 4k users over until the Ti launches.

3000 something by 2000 or something and 750 full mod gold rated

If you're gaming at 4k, neither card is going to handle it well. Buy a 1080 and be done with it. Have sommething that can actually somewhat handle a 4k load.

  6. Did you buy 120's or 140's by accident?

The SP fans have a different blade design for pushing/pulling air through a radiator.

Why not return them for the correct ones?

My 6700k running at 4.9ghz with an H100i even in a hot room only runs at 41C.  I have a push pull set up with 4 SP120 Performance editions.

I have 3 AF140's in the front and 1 AF140 in the rear.

My room temp is 67F at my house, when I'm gaming with friends it can get close to almost 80F in the room, and my CPU temp never exceeds 41-42C while gaming.

Regarding Microcenter sales people, I understand it's their job and they make commission but they always try and sell people the most expensive fucking motherboards. Like when I went there to build my sister editing PC they kept trying to sell me an i7 and a Z170 motherboard and I'm like nope, this i3 will do along with this H110 motherboard. Like if they tried getting someone a cheaper motherboard and a higher end GPU that'd be cool, but they don't.

I've talked with some, and they're ok. It's just their job to push people into different things. The ones at the closest store to typically go with a bang for your buck deal.  This board will work fine with your plans, plus it's only this much.

My cousin wanted a red/black board. Doesn't help the ROG ones are red/black.  I have an ROG(Hero alpha Z170) board and I'd honestly say it's black/grey with a red accent. The only thing that's actually red thats not an LED is the start button and a triangle shaped piece on the IO cover. That's it.

I think he fell for that old gimmick, it costs more so it must be better. To a degree it is, but not always.

When I go there, I just tell them politely, I don't need any help unless it's coming from the back. I know what I'm here for and that I've already researched it before coming.

  8. I think it's because he's seen what my PC is capable of. I let him use my 6700k machine while I went out of town.(after I cleared the history and locked down other things)

My friends told me, he kept playing rocket league, ark and skyrim. Then when I took it back, he was like I want one. So I was looking into it for him. Then my office pc's mobo died, and I was like, well this is perfect for him.

  9. Well I finally gave in and bought a 6600 for my office pc.

My office pc's motherboard died. So I took out the 4790k that was there. It's my office pc, I won't overclock it, I won't game on it. So a 6600 was fine.

So my cousin who's 20 asked if I could help him get into PC gaming.  I told him to buy a motherboard, he wanted a particular color, so it ended up being an ROG board.

Then give me 300 bucks. The 300 bucks would pay for my old PC and me putting it together.

He's been a console player. He needed a new computer, since his laptop died. Plus he'll have a decent enough pc to play some games on. I know I sold him an entire rig for less than the price of the CPU. But he's working a job and I'm not going to rob him. Afterall, he's finally getting used to this PC gaming thing.

He's got about 500 bucks into it. I told him that the parts in it cost way more than I sold it to him for.

The specs on his machine are

    4790k

Some ROG board, he bought it at a microcenter. I think he was partially talked into it, but he's content with it

    EVGA 970 SC

An old TX850 Corsair PSU, it's not even modular

It's in my old Storm Scout case

He's running the stock CPU cooler until he orders a Corsair AIO cooler. He likes my H100 but it won't work in that oldcase.

He's currently attempting to sell his Xbox because he wants to buy another gpu and a better than stock cpu cooler.

In the week he's had it, if he ain't working, he's playing some PC game. I always see him playing a game. I think he really likes it. So one more peasant into a PCMASTERRACE god.

Only lost 700ish bucks on that pc to him. He's my little cousin, I couldn't take his money, that he's saving to buy a car with.

  10. Buy some parts that Jet.com sells and use their 15% off coupon.

They don't sell everything computer related but you can order a few things ,get up to 30 bucks off. Order something else and get another 30 off.

Just saying. Plus more than likely you'll get your parts from newegg anyway. Jet uses other companies to fulfill orders. I ordered my 6700k off them and abused that 15% off on it.

Oh I have no idea, Skylake has been quite the strange release, DDR3 and DDR4 I didn't think could be done on a single chip

    You misinterpreted it.

Skylake with certain board can use DDR3. Skylake with the majority of boards support DDR4.

Not ddr3/4 at the same time.

Plus DDR4 is getting cheap anyway. DDR4 is the new memory standard.

Maybe. If Verizon can resolve some labor issues, they'll be the first. The strike ended, and Union came to an agreement, but they still have each technician covering ~800 square miles and working 60+ hours a week.

In my experience, VZW has always got some new phone or network signal upgrade first. I don't pay too much attention, only based on what I see on the commercials, in store while dealing with a phone issue, or upgrading my phone.

I've got a Note 4 from Verizon, and a LG G3 from Sprint. I just wish the LG didn't have that rear button. When I switch between phones, it messes me up. Although I love the LG's double tap to wake feature. I use that more often than the actual button.

As far as the techs work distance, I'm sure VZW would love more, but it's not exactly an easy job. A friend does that down in Mississippi and he likes it. Although, he's single, no kids, and lives in his moms basement. He only chose to live in a basement because he says it allows him to save money, and not waste money on an apt he's hardly ever at.  Which makes sense.

  13. You could in all honesty start gathering parts now and have it sooner.

    Just as an example,

    Cpu - 6600k - 220

    Cpu Cooler -  CM Hyper 212 Evo - 30

    Mobo - Asus Z170-A  Mobo - 150

    PSU - EVGA 750GQ - 90

    GPU - GTX 1070 - 420

    Case- Phanteks Enthoo Pro M - 90

    SSD - Samsung 850 Evo 500gb - 150

    HDD - Western Digital Blue 1TB -  50

    Windows 10 - 100

For roughly 1300 bucks, it'll get you everything you need, to build a capable 1440p machine. Plus there's no point in building a 1440p machine if your running a 1080p monitor, so add a couple more hundred bucks for a 24-27 inch 1440p monitor.
