  1. Ebay and most online sites often pay half or less on the actual value.

If your looking to get full value, could try going to a gamestop and seeing if anyone buying would give you cash in exchange for the cards.

For itunes, idk. Maybe a friend or someone you may know.

    Probably around 500 GBP.

Ill use the current 27 inch panel for stuff whilst gaming.

But the few comments above do nothing but highlight some of issues i have with pcmr and i have building tinkering for a good few years now.

According to amazon uk, the mg279q is in your budget, but streching another 100 gets you GSync on the PG278QR.

    Your call there.

Maybe you can find a deal on the PG278QR elsewhere. Just used amazon UK to get prices in your country.

What the hell are you doing with this that you require 32GB of RAM?

if you do anything that requires 32gb of RAM the i7-7700K is very likely not the right CPU choice...

His build his money his choice.

Technically a $500 laptop can play most games.

I've got 32gb in mine but when I bought it RAM was cheap and there was like a 50 buck difference between 16gb 3400mhz kits and 32gb 2800mhz kits. So i went with more.

@OP whats your budget for a monitor? I know your overseas so pricing and selections might vary.

Also what size is your current panel, you replacing it or adding to your current for dual monitors? Helps us figure out how big to go, most 1440s are 27 inches.

    My suggestion is a MG278Q.

Ive got its little 60hz brother and like it.

Its 400ish US.  Its not g sync but if your looking for gsync its probably outta budget.

As far as your pcie cable, shouldn't be a big deal. Ive got a similar cable on my Strix 1080ti and dont notice any issues.

Probably ok considering most PSUs have a cable in the box for running 1 wire up to the card with 2 ends on it.

You do make a point, and you are very right. However, I am a hoarder!  I do work on tools, and my truck, and plan on taking my rolling toolbox (and all my tools duh. :P ), desk, old school books that are still helpful, bed, firearms, scouting/camping stuff, and my dresser. My biggest thing is that I don't know what I will be renting until about two months before I move, and with another person and three dogs I'd like to make as much room as possible. Better to be ready than to make changes when I get there.

I am too. My garage is supposed to be 2 cars but currently its filled with motorcycles and parts. Mainly because I have a huge air compressor, and a motorcyle lift with all kinds of tools.(when my grandpa died, I got the house and tools. Since he was a handyman, he had alot of tools)  So my friends end up .making it the repair shop.

My office(at my house) is filled with pc parts from over the years.(dont open the closets, boxes might fall)

  5. Your acting like its the size of 10 refrigerators.

Unless your moving into a closet you should be fine.

The amount of fans and heat can change a smaller rooms temp, especially if the doors closed, by about 5-10 degrees during extended gaming sessions.

If you have at least a studio apt, with about 350 and up sq ft youll be fine.

I lived in a studio while my house was being remodeled. It was 350 sqft. I had a massive ikea galant desk, queen bed, love seat, table in the dining room, tv stand, night stand. Plus my motorcycle was behind my couch. I had plenty of room for myself and my german shepherd.

Its all about how its laid out. May have to sit it on the floor if your desk doesnt have room.

Temps are sustained after 30 minutes of both. I am using the stock AIO fans with a curve that idles at low RPM and at about 60 C ramps up to 60% and then 75 C goes to 85% and 87 C is 100%. Fans end up spinning at about 60-80% fluxuating back and forth between them every 20 seconds.

Set a more aggresive fan curve. Try 75% at 60C.  And by 75 it should be at 100%.

Try setting it up as exhaust. May help by getting the heat out of the case so the radiator aint getting heatsoaked. Heat naturally rises. So 2 fans pushing air thru the rad gets met by heat rising back into it.

I have a h100 on my 6700k with an h110 on my gpu and only see temps in the 50s after hours of gaming with spikes to 65ish.

My h110 is intake and my h100 is exhaust in a NZXT Manta. And those fans are my only case fans.
