CyanogenMod just changed name to LineageOS, and those who worked on the OS separated from Cyanogen, inc. Also, the OnePlus One shipped with CyanogenMod 12 but I don't know about phones with preinstalled LineageOS
Have patience, you're getting close. I don't remember exactly, but maybe in a couple of in-game days. maybe earlier.
Also, keep an eye on your game folder while playing. Why? Don't ask me
This started out from nowhere: nothing has changed (only a driver update to AMD's adrenaline stuff), but GTA won't launch anymore. It just opens the Launcher then crashes while loading. no compatibility options helps, nothing recent on google either.
I tried repairing the game with the installer, nothing. I tried redownloading GTAVLauncher.exe, still nothing
What should I do?
You should follow the Machete order:
4, 5, (1), 2, 3, 6, 7, 8.
Why this? A great explanation comes from the guy who invented it.
edit: I'll just add here the second part of that blog post, updated for Episode VII.
is it for the standard edition or more? the code I got from a stream giveaway was for the $100 Gold edition (holy shit I know). If you have the code for any non standard edition, it gets even better in multiplayer
singleplayer is great, and it gets better if you have the patience to collect all guns and parts around the map and try to play it "seriously" with camo and stealth.
multiplayer is even better as it will get more stuff in the future
I'll test it, don't care if it breakes everything
I mean backlighting, I have a CM Storm devastator kit (yeah I know, cheap stuff) which I've always turned on with 'xset led 3' either manually or in a script I wrote
doing this will install the "normal" gnome desktop, not the modified one from ubuntu 17.10
mostly keyboard LED. tried different ways, still won't turn on. it works on 16.04
I have ubuntu 16.04 installed on one of my desktop drives, but I'm not a fan of the Unity environment. I really like the 17.10 GNOME, and would like to use that on my 16.04 install. I know I could just use 17.10, but there are some compatibility problems with my hardware.
Any suggestions? is this even possible?
I hate being the asshole, but please don't use Kali Linux if you can't make it work. Kali is for professional pentesters who know their way around Linux.
With this said, let me try and help anyway. Is this a live usb or is kali installed on the drive?
EDIT: didn't notice this thread was so old, pardon me
Windows almost made me quit gaming. With this I mean, most games. I almost convinced myself to install a good Linux distro on my main rig and, if needed, play those games that run on linux with or without Wine
I'd copy the stuff she needs to the external drive, wipe the laptop, boot something like BitDefender rescue (live usb), plug in the drive and scan it (this is just for extra safety). if files are safe, proceed to install windows on laptop and copy back files
that stuff was quite advanced. not the crappy javascript miner from coinhive, not even a blatand .exe running in background and visible in the task manager. This stuff was inside windows registry, sneaky little fucks hiding behind windows defender and task scheduling stuff.
