just want to max out what my motherboard can hold

i just bought a motherboard that can handle 128 gb of ddr4 ram it has has 8 slots so if i went with the full 128 gb of ram it would be 16gbx8 but if i wanted to start out with 64 gb and have 8gbx8 and then slowly change them out each 8gb card with 16gb cards could i and what would be the effects other than getting more ram? also would i loose documents ect?

yeah to clarify i want triple A games to run on 4K and i know the titan x can do that but i was wondering if it was smarter to buy 2 6 gb cards one at a time so i didnt have to save up the money

if 3 2gb graphics cards only still give you 2gb of VRAMwhat is the advantage of stacking graphics cards

im new to PC building and also this forum im sure this has been asked multiple times so i apologies in advance but im trying to build a gaming rig and i was wondering would it be better to have 3 2gb graphics card or 1 6 same goes for the idea of having 2 6 gb or 1 titan x 12 gb card
