As we are a non-profit community media organisation do you think its worth approaching a company and trying to negotiate a discount? How about going directly to manufacturers? I'm sure they would just tell me to hit the road?

Hi guys, Have to build some new rigs for my workplace we are a media company and will be expanding into the following areas; - Photoshop and Illustrator - Video production and editing - Animation - Audio Editing The PCs need to be able to cope with all of the above. As you can imagine as a small company I've been given a tiny budget to work with so I appreciate the builds are modest (especially compared to my gaming rig at home lol) so remember that as a rough budget I have about £600 per PC so I've had to forgo a dedicated GPU for the moment with the hope I can make a business case in about 3 months from now to just buy some GPUs and slot them in these systems. Heyo guys! Big fan of Linus personally so thought I would start using the forums for advise regarding my work too! I work for a radio station and have been recently been tasked with finding a way to hosting our content online with a way to link that to our website. The scenario would be; we have a computer here that logs all the audio broadcasts by an hour by hour basis. A system where that is automatically uploaded to a cloud server the next day where our listeners could go onto and download which ever audio file they wanted. I've thought about soundcloud but; it may disappear soon if they keep haemorrhaging money, seems labour intensive wanted something that automatically uploads the content daily by itself. Any help in this area as I'm a novice when it comes to cloud/online stuff! Thanks!!
