Okay so I have an i7 9700 K and MSI Z390 mobo and recently my top slot on my board stop working (I assumed) so in the meantime I just use the bottom slot until I can save up to replace the motherboard, after receiving my new motherboard strangely I am hit was the same problem can anyone help can 16x lanes on CPU die or am I making this up. Ps have tested my gpu (2080) in another system with no problems

Hi im currently trying to build an extremely cheap gaming pc for a friend i currently have 775 socket Asus p5kpl-am epu Board (only board lying about) and a 760gtx lol and still no memory, psu, cpu (well i have a E5300 but thats not good its a bit slow) just wondering what the best / cheapest options you all suggest or is it cheaper to start with new board all together

So the other day i decided to pull out my 500 gb HDD and 1tb HDD and put 2x 2gb hdd's in my pc... { Ps Windows is on my SSD } So when i removed my storage drive (500gb) it was hit with an error like Unable to find Boot: GRUB Recovery... (sorry cant remember the name and don't want to replicate ), and got worried and put it back in and after a but of mucking about in my bios got it working again. so to cut a long story short i want to take it out and don't know if i can here is a picture of my Disk management

  13. Well i have some results i have XMP working but not at the specified speed as memory suggests (3000mhz) i have it running at 2800mhz in XMP but any higher and PC wont post. this is as far as my memory knowledge goes as of now and i have updated BIOS.
