just buy a ryzen 1700 and clock it to 4GHz, better and cheaper than what intel is producing.
The marginal performance gains over the price doesn't make it worthwhile anymore

i would assume i could replace the battery by myself, but the battery of this laptop is quite pricey, and i am still well under warranty (3 years) so it would be a waste of money to replace it myself.
 
The indicator is from the laptop itself, not integrated into windows (it is a light on the outside of the laptop).

I'd stick with the gtx 960, Nvidia has good driuver support, features AMD doesn';t have (physx, mfaa, and it has nvidia inspector, that has a TON of customization compared to AMD counterpart - radeon pro - which i do not have good experiences with.)

A CPU overclock could mean a lot of performance gains in games like MMos and Mobas

Doubtful, since the vive is almost twice as expensive, same with oculus with tit's 600 pricepoint.

If someone is getting an Nvidia card, ALWAYS offer an AMD card counter and say he must ditch the thought of getting an Nvidia card.
If someone has an AMD processor, ditch the question he/she has and blame it on the processor and show a graph on how much better Intel is.
If someone is on a budget and what to build a PC, ALWAYS go Intel, because AMD is garbage (according to forum rules of course) and is NOT an option, no matter the budget.
If someone has a problem with an Nvidia card, always blame Nvidia and tell him AMD is superior in every way so that it is his fault for not going red.

use the disk you got with the motherboard and install lan drivers, otherwise, download from another laptop and install it that way.
Look the motherboard up in google, and download drivers for it.

i would never go SLI/crossfire - the hassles and unsupported platform is just not worth it.
Half of the developers do not support it, and the only thing it is actually good for are benchmarks.
 
Go for the 980Ti, or wait for the new GPUs to be released later this year.
